Bigfoot Found in the Redwoods, Humboldt County, California. This is oh, so funny! We used to live in Humboldt and, well....I have to say, we never saw any sign of Bigfoot. Came across a few illegal grows though....and found the... Continue reading

The fall has just flown by at school. I can't believe we are in the middle of the mad dash to the end of 2010. Glitter, glue, bells, and anticipation fill the room. Those little ones don't even really understand... Continue reading

So hanging out with 6 year olds all day does nothing for my sense of fashion. I realize this. I get paint, glue and markers on my clothes, so there's no buying anything that can't go in the washer on... Continue reading

We took our exchange student to the top of Mt. Spokane. It was an incredibly sunny day. Everything was so washed out no matter how I played with the camera settings. So I'm going to compensate in Adobe Elements :-) I like the way it turned out. This one will be more fun to scrapbook! Continue reading

We spent a family bonding day working in the yard to get things ready for winter. It's getting chilly and things have stopped growing, but there are few sunflowers finishing up their end of summer bloom. This poor bumblebee was working hard to collect the last of the pollen before it's time to snooze for the winter. W Continue reading

This wasn't doctored in photoshop! I played with my camera settings until I could get a photo that looked like what I was seeing. Oh how I love digital SLR's and the instant gratification I get knowing I caught the shot the right way! Continue reading

So, both my daughters approached me with their long list of birthday parties they had coming up. My jaw hit the floor! Buy each of these BFF's a gift? I'll never get the new tires for my Explorer before the snows start falling! I did ask them if they could choose their friends better. Could you please interview them? Find out when their birthdays are...and maybe have a quota. You know they could say, "sorry Hailey, I can't be your friend. I already have three other friends who have birthdays in October. But if you were willing to change your... Continue reading

The first song I heard from Zac Brown Band I remember thinking..."That's an annoying song". When I saw him, I couldn't believe it was a country artist. With the beanie he had on his head and the cargo pants I... Continue reading

A rainy Saturday morning and a few moments by myself led me to The Pioneer Woman's blog. I've been reading her blog since before she became a published author, before she finished the tale of her and Marlboro Man's courtship,... Continue reading

I can listen to this song over and over. I love it. The beat is fun...the lyrics saucy and clever...the tune is catchy. Not everyone is a country music fan...but this one has to at least get your toes twitching! Continue reading
