The sun has come out in full force for our last day. Lizzy did a paraglide jump so Hannah, Emma and I walked down to the beach to meet her when she landed. After that we popped into a couple of the shops then headed back to the hotel to finish packing. Our cases are in the storage shed now, and we are sitting in the bar waiting for the bus to take us to the airport. The rain stayed away for the afternoon, so we stayed by the pool for a little longer then went to our room to chill out and read our books. Afterwards we went for lunch and back to our room to get ready for a foam party with Lizzy and Hannah. The rain stopped just before lunchtime so we headed to the restaurant. The food was okay, but some of it was a little odd and there was a lot of seafood that I didn't fancy. We ate then changed for a card game and a dip in the pool. The water was cold from the rain but it felt nice once we were in. We had another quiet day today as the weather hasn't been as great as the past few days. It is cloudy at the moment, and there have been a few spots of rain. This afternoon we had a dip in the pool and then went to the sauna, which felt amazing. This afternoon we will have dinner and then get a few drinks from the bar, enjoying the remainder of the sunshine and the warm, calm evening. A short update today as it has been a quiet one. We woke up late and spent the morning by the pool, then went to the Blue Lagoon around 1430 local time. It was nice there, but it wasn't as good as the brochures made it out to be. After a swim and a read of my book we came back to the resort for a quick swim, then changed to have our photos taken by Tweetie the resort photographer. We had booked to go on the 12 Islands cruise today, where you sail along the coast stopping at 12 of the islands along the way. When we got to the booking shop (Bloody Gorgeous in Olu Deniz) we were told the sea was too rough and we needed to get a bus to a bay further up. We all got in and the bus took us up the mountain and down the other side to a small beach with a few piers. The guide told us to follow him, and he headed away from the piers to a small... The rain cleared up after about an hour so we decided to take the opportunity whilst it was dry to visit the market in Fethiye. It's a crazy place; the vendors will offer you a very high price for their goods and then you need to haggle as hard as possible to get a reasonable offer. One vendor wanted 100 Turkish Lira for a couple of purses (roughly £50) and it got to the point that as we walked away he was running after us offering 35TL. The thunderstorm is right above us now, with plenty of rain and lightning. Our plan to hit the market looks like it might be put on hold for now at least. The pool here is beautiful, it is nice and cool which is great when you need a break from the sun. We got roped into a poolside game earlier then had a lovely lunch in the shade.
