Great style shouldn't cost you an arm and a leg. If you dont have that other leg then what will you put in your brand new shoes :). Let's face it though, not everyone can afford expensive designer shoes. Especially those cute ones with the red bottoms. So where do you go to look for Christian Louboutin shoes for up to 30% off: Bluefly. Sometimes when you go to sale sites they have last seasons stuff or shoes that are not your taste. Bluefly has the cutest, newest shoes on sale. They have slingbacks, platform pumps, ankle boots ranging from... Continue reading

So this is a real review of TurboFire. I am a real human. I wanted to get into shape and lose about 15lbs. I know I am not fat by any means. Weight watchers and Jenny Craig wont even let me be apart of their cults, I mean clubs. I am 5'0 125lbs but Ive always been 110 so Im kicking my butt to get that way again. I see alot of guys doing this P90X but I dont want to look like a bodybuilder I want to look thinner but with some muscle. So I decided to purchase Turbo... Continue reading

The Reebok EasyTone shoe is yet another sneaker to claim to tone and strengthen leg muscles. Skechers Shape Ups with are the giant moon shoe version and they dont look very fashionable to wear. MBT were the front runner (total pun intended) originally but now Reebok EasyTone comes out and their commercial is a huge hit. Disclaimer: Your ass wont look like the model in this commercial from shoes. Anyway, I bought the EasyTone shoes because I needed new sneakers and I was curious to try them out. Holy hamstring hell after wearing them for an hour my legs were... Continue reading

http://www.silive.com/entertainment/music/index.ssf/2010/10/staten_island_dating_game_debu.html# Tomorrow night will be the debut of the Staten Island Dating Game show "Dating's Complicated". The contestants will be chosen out of the audience...Yes, random people out of the audience. I can just think of the mutants that will show up to get a chance to go on a date with a guy or a girl. The winning couple from the first round will go on a bowling date. The second round will have the woman choosing from a date with the winner of the 3 guys playing or choosing a prize. Hmmmm that's a tough one. But hey,... Continue reading

How do you say guido in Japanese? This post doesnt even need a body of text because the title of the Jersey Shore in Japan alone is hilarious. I just found out that the show translates to MTV Jersey Shore -- the New Jersey life of macaroni rascals." I was very excited to hear that Mario Batali, Joe Bastianich (the bald dude with the game face from MasterChef), Lidia Matticchio Bastianich (bald dude's mom) and Eataly founder Oscar Farinetti opened this place right near where I work. The NY Post wrote a review on the marketplace below. But I am here to talk about the Pizza to go. Read more: http://www.nypost.com/p/lifestyle/food/welcome_to_eataly_G5QHOIVyNtzG44tyFb5GVM#ixzz10vh43N6P The pizza to go spot is a small window at the 24th street entrance. They have different types of pizza, but I am a traditional pizza person so I went for the Margherita (tomato, basil, mozzarella cheese).... Continue reading

The Staten Island Mall has become trendier since they added a Coach store a few years back.I noticed little by little that better stores have been added. BCBGMAXAZRIA and Armani Exchange have followed and tomorrow marks a huge day for shoppers as Michael Kors opens. Anyone plan on shopping there? Continue reading

I was cleaning my closet out the other day and found a ton of books. Textbooks, reference guides, paperbacks, hard cover. I didnt have much success listing my books on Amazon but I noticed a tab on the right bottom corner that said "Trade in here for Amazon gift card". Amazon gift cards are the best for me, you can pretty much find anything you need on there that you would purchase in a store. I traded in 14 books for a total of $129.50. That averages out to roughly $9.25 a book which is what I would have listed... Continue reading

A woman in a Georgia nail salon was charged an extra $5 for her pedicure. The nail salon owner states the reason is because her chairs have a weight max of 200lbs and when the chairs break they cost $2500 to fix. The money was eventually refunded to the customer BUT the customer was told to not come back to the salon. Do you think it's fair to charge an overweight customer more? In what circumstances is it okay? Continue reading

So I am very curious to try those diets that say lose 9 lbs in 11 days. I was only curious to see what their menu plan is like. So I bought the program and ran the Diet Generator. Two columns come up on the side one column is all protein (Fish, Nuts, Meat, Dairy) the other side is all Fruits and Veggies. So I choose 7-15 and it makes your menu. The menu is 11 days and you eat 4 meals each day. You can eat all of the options on your meal or just one. My meal plan... Continue reading

I'm pretty thin I fluctuate between 105-120 lbs. So I cant consider myself fat but I call myself skinny fat. Since I gave up Starbucks about a month ago to save money I didnt realize it was at the expense of my appetite. The macchiatos were keeping my appetite down. Since I stopped those I have a ravenous appetite. Also I dont exercise....ever. My gym buddy always tries to get me to go out because exercise is oh so fun but I always think of what other things I could be doing with that time, like eating, and watching tv... Continue reading

So one of the reasons I got the Kindle was that it had a text-to-speech function that would read the book to you in a computerized voice. That's cool for me because when I am on the bus I cant read because I get motion sickness. BUT lo and behold they are disabling the feature. What a waste. That Nook is looking pretty nice right about now. Continue reading

One of my favorite outfits I ever wore was this cute BCBGMaxazria pink chiffon off the shoulder dress. I loved that dress, it fit me so well and I always got compliments on it. Bluefly has designer dresses from the same designer most of which are 40% off. They even have turtleneck sweater dresses which are going to be huge this fall. Some of the new arrivals are from Badgley Mischka and Ella Moss. You can search by color, designer, maxi dresses, day or evening dresses. I love designer handbags, shoes and dresses. I like trying to match my purse... Continue reading

I love finding new products on the internet. Especially skin cream products. Toners, moisturizers, masks, scrubs, you name it I love buying it. I found this new cream on a website from England. Lubatti skin care is one of those all natural skin products. For instance Lubatti Clear Skin Tonic is made with only rose water and yet works to balance the skin and is both hydrating without making your skin an oily mess. Lubatti makes a night cream with mango and avocado which I am dying to try, and two moisturizers, one with honey and almond and one with... Continue reading

Shopping for a new car is a lot of fun and a lot of work. There are so many brands and then even if you know the brand there are different types. There are a lot of things you should look for before you buy a car. Besides liking the way the car looks and making sure it's in your price range you are going to want to make sure you are getting a good vehicle. You are going to want to look at the safety performance, the features, how many miles per gallon the car gets. Depending on where... Continue reading

I was going over my expenses the other day and calculated that I spend a whopping $240 on COFFEE!!!. Granted I like my macchiatos twice a day at $8 a day for the whole month...But wow $240 I can think of so many other things I could get with that money....My Coach poppy bag was $240. So I have started my Money Saving Plan. It's actually quite simple, for everyday I dont buy my coffee I take the money I would have spent and put it in an envelope. Then whatever I have in the envelope either goes into my... Continue reading

Smart Ones Vs. Lean Cuisines: Which Healthy Meal Option is Better? - Associated Content - associatedcontent.com I dont have the time to cook lunch and sometimes dinner for myself so I usually rely on frozen food items. The two most popular items I find in the grocery store are Smart Ones (weight watchers) and Lean Cuisine. Smart Ones are limited in variety and flavor. They have your typical pasta primavera, pepperoni pizza, english muffin breakfast sandwich. Smart Ones are also not as filling as a regular meal. Lean Cuisine on the other hand has a variety of foods. Butternut squash... Continue reading

I used to date a guy who played poker every Saturday night. He taught me how to play Texas Hold 'Em. I got really good and started beating him and he he became a sore loser. The sport has become so popular lately with the World Series of Poker and everything..My friend owns a poker store that sells chips, which make great gifts, by the way...He also teaches how to play poker. If you want to learn how to play first so when you go you don't lose all your chips by the time the river comes out ( by... Continue reading

So this isnt so much a horror but could possibly be. I am way in over my head with the dating. I'm talking to about 6 guys and 2 of which are named Mike....So when Mike called me I had to play a little game called "Which one are you again?" Both Mike's have side jobs as computer techs but one is a fireman....My first reaction was to say "How was work today, anything interesting happen"? That worked like a charm because Mike replied "Well at my second job today, blah blah blah". I didnt hear the rest because I... Continue reading

From the director of Fight Club, David Fincher brings you Facebook the Movie, well it's title is actually "The Social Network"... The movie looks pretty cool. It doesnt look like a fun teen comedy though, it looks more like a dramatic courtroom/tech drama...The whole "you stole this idea" concept is very reminiscent of "Pirates of Silicon Valley".....
