Well the Liberal party is a business party with occasional liberal nods toward social issues. Not exactly left-of-center. The Alberta NDP is also very business friendly. If there is such a thing as an objective line between left and right, with the hard left being pure communism and hard right being nothing but private enterprise, it's not clear that the Alberta NDP is left-of-center. Not very far left anyway.
