Great point. It's also an interesting challenge - to build walls around your magic abilities but to keep them relevant to the 'real world'. I'm not sure how relevant Max's powers would seem outside the theater. Like, if I could see through things, I'd be looking through women's clothes and lottery scratch and wins, not performing mental magic ;)

That most certainly makes sense and well said, Mark. Sounds like you're thanking them for all the right reasons (and not rambling!) My main gripe is when I see a magician INSISTING on showing a trick, then saying 'thank you' implying the encounter was consensual.
