Great solution and results, Benita! I don't drive, so I also have a trolley, although I usually buy online bulk or heavy shoppping (such as water, milk, drinks, pantry food) or go to the shops personally and have it sent.

Congratulations, Benita! All the best for you, Wille, Mini & Bonus! I'll be glad to follow your new house renos and how you 'redesign' your life from now on. BTW, I know now is not the best time for it but I'd be delighted to hear how you're doing in the kitchen, I mean what you cook, your meals, how you plan your weekend menus or when you're having friends for dinner... Maybe sometime in future :-)?

'Our open houses and showings are a thing of the past now' Phew, Benita ;-D! I guess I can congratulate you and your family and, silly as it may sound, I feel pretty relieved. I was really very worried for you, because that has been the case with so many families here in Spain before the housing bubble exploded and the financial crisis showed its worst face: so many people had accepted enormous mortgages from banks for a new house before selling the old one and when the crisis began they just couldn't afford two mortgages at the same time -since they couldn't sell for the inflated price they paid for it- and lost both of them. You should have seen me smiling when I read that sentence of yours :-)

What a coincidence! In Spanish we say: 'the donkey goes first, it's never afraid' (not a literal translation, but this is the sense)! I don't think anyone stands ignorant, arrogant people but themselves. Duh!

We share some of these things (http://amycapdet.wordpress.com/about/ Good luck this Sunday -as we say in Spanish, roughly translated: 'have a short hour':)!

I'm loving these posts and I'm looking forward to next week's. By the way, lucky you, there in Sweden, that can count on reselling a house nowadays. Here in Spain thinking of buying before selling is impossible for the time being. That's another reason for loving your new house series, if I can call it like this; it's as though I were in your shoes as I read your daily post :-)

Congratulations, Benita! I think this is a well deserved acknowledgment to your generosity and expertise. I also think that writing in English not only broadens communication but also helps spread Swedish traditions, style and way of life; not to speak of Swedish shops, webs and blogs you divulge internationally and otherwise would have remained unknown! Oh, BTW, today I'm especially looking forward to your tomorrow's post :-)!!!

Have you tried WiiFit? It's the only exercise I really enjoy, apart of Wii Grand Slam Tennis: it really makes you feel you're in a tennis court -or almost ;-). It keeps me motivated to do some exercise because I find it fun trying to break my own records!

Hi, Benita, you look gorgeous in these photos! BTW, I didn't know there was such a sport -I'm not a sporty gal, if we come to that-, so thanks a lot for posting about this and for the links. Anyway, my question is about the apparel you're sporting in the pics. I undestand it's polar fleece and my doubt (stupid as it may sound to you) is whether you get static shocks when wearing polar fleece -or any type of synthetic fabric in your body- and most important how you solve it!!! I suffer from continuous shocks due to electrostatic charge when I wear my sneakers, plastic sole boots, fleece... That's hell for me because it lasts the whole winter season, so any clue? Thanks a lot :-)

Hi, Benita I'm sure you've already answered this question some time, but I been looking around for it and I give up: please, what font did you use for the months' names in you 365 Days project? I really love it and I think it can come in handy for projects involving a personal touch other than scrapbooking, f.i. labeling, cards... Thanks so much! Amy

I think you simply deserve it, Benita. I admire your ability to transform common things into cutting egde design icons often by just giving them a coat of fresh paint. Happy week!

For several reasons we don't put a tree at home, but the tradition here in Spain -at least in Catalonia as far as I know- is keeping it up -and all the things Christmas-y - till the Candelera or Candelaria day, which is one of the first days in February -I don't remember whether the 2nd or the 3rd-. We never kept it up for so long either; not only it shed its needles on the floor, but everything got dusty after almost two months and looked dull.

From Barcelona, Merry Christmas and best wishes for 2011! Congrats for your 365 project (almost over) and for your blog. I'm almost finished (I'm reading October 2010)and I love both your ideas and your mise en scène, but I'm also delighted with the highlights you give about living in Sweden: social, food, shopping... Happy Christmas :-)!
