1. Sour! 2. My daughter taking her first taste of a lemon at a chinese restaurant when she was about 10 months old. She puckered and shivered, then had another taste and has been a lover of all things sour ever since! 3. Fresh! 4. Sunshine. 5. Lemonade!

1. Clean the house! 2. Freak out! 3. Rush around like a crazy person! 4. Stay up to late. 5. Fall over exhausted when they leave. Actually, while some of that is paarty true, I like having company! Here's what we really do: 1. Take them someplace we love... and indoor jumpy place, chocolate candy factory, hike in the desert, etc. 2. Make sure we take them out for good Mexican food. 3. Stay up late talking and catching up. 4. Try to make them feel welcome in our home!

I adored my Grandma and Grandpa... 1. Grandpa came to visit often. He drove a white chevy Luv pick-up truck with a camper shell on the back. He had it set up for sleeping in the truck. Sevral times I traveled with him and went fishing or camping. I think he loved being a grandpa and going on adventures. 2. Grandma was one of my very favorite people... She let me do anything I wanted and loved me unconditionally. She taught my how to pray a rosary and she taught me to play bridge! I always loved visiting her house...even when I was grown up.

This week: 1. I will be unpacking my scrpbook stuff from a weekend crop. 2. Snapping and cooking up about 5 pounds of fresh green beans. 3. Making some fun dinners for my family - including meatball sandwiches, stir fry, and fajitas (on Cinco de Mayo!) 4. Wrapping up homework grades for my math class... their final is next Monday! (Then I have three weeks of "vacation" before the summer session starts!)

This spring I photographed multiple days of our "Octopus Agave" plant shooting up it's stalk. This "succulent" plant (that looks kind of like an aloe vera plant...but BIG) grows for about 10 years then shoots up a stalk about 15 feet tall!! the stalk blooms and the mother plant dies. It's been fun to watch this spring and I plan to make a scrapbook page about it! Also in sping I photograph my garden alot... I've done one layout of my garden... Don't know if I'll do another one. But I still take a lot of pictures of the garden!

Distance... 1. I don't like it when my husband travels a long distance. 2. Summer vacation has to be a short distance from home this year in order to fit into our budget. 3. All our family lives a long distance away. 4. "from a distance..."

I am not much of a pet lover... but there have been a couple over the years that I enjoyed. 1. Our "outdoor" cat, Sandy. She was a stray at my brother and I fed and then she became ours. We had her for 5 years or so. When she was allowed inside, her favorite place to sleep was on my bed. 2. My son has a Beta fish right now named "Cornstock". I love this fish! I call him "the begger" because he watches me in the evening hoping I will feed him an extra treat. A fish with personality!

I've given up... 1. Trying to keep a perfect (almost perfect) house. Instead I've embraced the fact that kids live here and clutter is my friend. 2. Movies. Ok, we see a movie every now and then, but not nearly as much as I'd like! 3. Beauty shop and hair cut appointments. The walk-in places get my business now!

There is a picture of my and my grandfather fishing. Grandpa is holding a fish waaaaay out in frornt of him (because it looks bigger that way!) and I am looking over his shoulder. The river we'd been fishing in is in the background. It's one of my alltime favorite pictures!

1. Kitchen faucet - not because it was broke, but because I wanted a new one! 2. Garbage Disposal - The seal was leaking. We had a baby and not much money. So we replaced it ourselves! Quite an accomplishment! 3. Hot water heater. 4. Toys, toys, toys... but I leave a lot of them for my husband to fix!

What I love about Spring: 1. Everything blooms! - I especially love the smell of the blooms on the orage tree in our backyard. 2. Planting a garden - a couple years ago I cleared a small area in the backyard and planted a vegetable garden. I love choosing new vegetables, watering them every day, and watching them grow. 3. Spring sports - Soccer this year. I had no idea how relaxing it was to sit and watch my kids play soccer. I love it! 4. Beautiful weather - sunny and warm. 5. Ladybugs - my kids have been outside collecting ladybugs every chance they get for the last three weeks!

LOST (Fun topic!) 1. LOST - The TV show. I watched part of an episode once... 2. I'd like to get lost and relax on a sunny beach for about three days. 3. Jewelry - I've lost more than my fair share over the years. The most recent was a butterfly charm for my daughter that was a gift from my Mom. I still think it has to be around here somewhere...but it's been two years since I've seen it!

If I had the time I would grab... 1. A small box of my "good" and sentimental jewelry. It would fit in my pocket. 2. My kids loveys. Allison's "fleecy" blanket and Carter's "bunnies". 3. My scrapbooks. Although I periodically copy my pictures from the computer to a CD and make a copy for my Mom - so I could get back almost all the pictures of my kids!! 4. Three "keepsake" boxes in the top of my closet. (Any maybe my husband's "keepsake" box if I could find where he puts it! 5. As many of Allison's soft toys as I could get in one armload. (She knows they're not "alive", but she still thinks they have feelings - and she'd be devistated to lose them in a fire!)
