I adored my Grandma and Grandpa...
1. Grandpa came to visit often. He drove a white chevy Luv pick-up truck with a camper shell on the back. He had it set up for sleeping in the truck. Sevral times I traveled with him and went fishing or camping. I think he loved being a grandpa and going on adventures.
2. Grandma was one of my very favorite people... She let me do anything I wanted and loved me unconditionally. She taught my how to pray a rosary and she taught me to play bridge! I always loved visiting her house...even when I was grown up.

This spring I photographed multiple days of our "Octopus Agave" plant shooting up it's stalk. This "succulent" plant (that looks kind of like an aloe vera plant...but BIG) grows for about 10 years then shoots up a stalk about 15 feet tall!! the stalk blooms and the mother plant dies. It's been fun to watch this spring and I plan to make a scrapbook page about it!
Also in sping I photograph my garden alot... I've done one layout of my garden... Don't know if I'll do another one. But I still take a lot of pictures of the garden!

I am not much of a pet lover... but there have been a couple over the years that I enjoyed.
1. Our "outdoor" cat, Sandy. She was a stray at my brother and I fed and then she became ours. We had her for 5 years or so. When she was allowed inside, her favorite place to sleep was on my bed.
2. My son has a Beta fish right now named "Cornstock". I love this fish! I call him "the begger" because he watches me in the evening hoping I will feed him an extra treat. A fish with personality!

2. Movies. Ok, we see a movie every now and then, but not nearly as much as I'd like!

There is a picture of my and my grandfather fishing. Grandpa is holding a fish waaaaay out in frornt of him (because it looks bigger that way!) and I am looking over his shoulder. The river we'd been fishing in is in the background. It's one of my alltime favorite pictures!
Snapshots - Friday, April 20
Posed portrait shots are great - but generally I'd have to say my favorite shots are snapshots. Those are the shots that record how we live our lives. The lighting isn't generally perfect and there is often "undesirable" clutter in the background but flash forward 10, 20, 30+ years - it surpri...

2. My kids loveys. Allison's "fleecy" blanket and Carter's "bunnies".
