That last picture looks like thick embroidery stitches! What kind of squash is that "lumpy"one? Interesting.... I like that idea of clouds being flowers : ) What if they passed by and you could smell roses or any scent of a natural flower? That would be fun! : )

I had to smile when I read this post because I saw your loft at Apartment Therapy, not knowing it is your home! I am a "frequent flyer" at apartment therapy. I go there to dream and "get away". : ) You have a lovely home and I think it is inspiring that you live in the city. Check out my dream chicken coop: I think this could work in a city, maybe on a small scale???

Following sea is such a special quilt. I love the memories it holds of your childhood and the shifting of the compass only adds more character! Rose hips are so good for you. If my memory serves it rose hips that cured the Black plague??
