I think she looks great there! I was always taught that art should be at the eye level of a person of average height and Miss Twiggy looks to be at eye level, at least from the photo you've posted. However, I can also imagine the nice little alcove you've described, perhaps lined with with some of that fantastic wallpaper you found in your attic. Has Bonus ventured outside since he returned home?

Sherry from Young House Love just did a post on stenciling their office walls, and it looks awesome! But she said wall stenciling is HARD. Hopefully floor stenciling would be a bit easier. These stencils are beautiful. I don't know which I love more.

They sedate a newborn animal? Gee, how safe is that? Even adult animals can die from sedation or anesthesia.

Not only do I admire your suggestions, but I think the drawings are great! You have so much talent in one family!

It's a very flattering look for you, and it shows the world your pretty face. And I have to agree with those who have said it makes you look younger! But I can relate to the "not long enough to pull back into a ponytail" angst, since ponytail is my preferred at-home style. I also use barrettes and combs to keep my hair off my face when I'm working. I also can relate to the "thin hair" trait as I have very fine hair that is extremely limp. I have recently discovered "volumizing" hair products, like shampoo, conditioner and leave-in hair um, "stuff" (?gunk?) that makes the most of what I do have. Suddenly I feel like I HAVE hair... that I can actually DO things with. ;-)

You could toss those books out one by one and see if he notices... he might not notice until you had thrown out half...! And then the half that are still there are useless. (Half a set isn't much of a set, don't you think?) (Well, now that I read what I've written, I'm ashamed at being so manipulative. I wouldn't want someone to do this to me.) How about a yearly goal? Every week you must get rid of 2 cm of reading material. At the end of the year, that is over one meter of books or magazines and that whole bookshelf of encyclopedias should take care of the yearly quota.
