Still stuck in Kansas... Want to go back to Pandora!
I want to know why we haven't been able to leave Earth yet...

Anything Avatar related is fine by me. I just hope that anything adding to the "world" of Avatar will be of the same quality as the movie! It is by James Cameron so I don't think I'll be let down. I wonder if it will contain anything relating to the sequel? I hope it does, but then again I don't because I want to go into the sequel with the same amount of "unknowingness" as I did with the first!

I don't really put much weight on what Biden says, he's always saying something... But he is the Vice President and I respect that.

Don't nuke Kansas I'm still living here until the ISV Venture leaves orbit!
Whoa, another person who loves Avatar and possibly lives in Kansas!
If someone hasn't seen this movie, um... well, I feel quite sorry for them... Don't know what else I can say other than ignorant bliss, no, stubborn ignorance! Yes, that's it!
Well if Cameron simply used half the profit from just Avatar he could easily make 2 more movies without money being a problem.
It better be worth it I had to give up both arms and a leg!

I don't know if I'll save this one. Don't get me wrong it's awesome, but I felt a little like ripping Quaritch's head off... Then there the blood and... I just don't want to have to clean any that up as it took me weeks to get that Necromorph blood smell out of the carpet!

I'm going there someday! Oh for a caption... "Yeah, I agree it's a great view, but shouldn't a bridge have railing?" Or... "And down there is the nesting place of the all-powerful sarlacc, good thing we're running on this slippery moss in good weather, oh, look a thundercloud!"

I just posted a comment like this on another "thread" similar not 3 minutes ago. I have to say the whole soundtrack is emotionally gripping and brings me to the height of wonder climbing Iknimaya, to the depths of sorrow as Hometree falls. I can't listen to it without a tear coming to my eyes.
I know that someone has probably asked this question before, but has any other movie you've seen impacted you as much as AVATAR or brought up such an emotional response? Continue reading

I cry the whole darn soundtrack! I love track #1 through #7 they are so beautiful! I cry imagining how awesome it would be to climb Iknimaya, become one of the people, to be in paradise with someone who loves me unconditionally; it's just beautiful! Then don't get me started on tracks #9, #10, or #11; I can't listen to them 'cause I can see Hometree coming down and the horrors of war and I can't stop crying! Sometimes I don't want to listen to it because it's like seeing the future... like loving someone and knowing that they're going to die tomorrow, you love them and are happy you get to see them, but are upset that you have to say goodbye...
Hah! It was the beautiful scenery and the world of Pandora that captured me, but the Na'vi were what got me the most. After seeing the movie I was disappointed that I'd never get the chance to see a real Na'vi and hear their hauntingly beautiful songs in person. Also, that people would just overlook them as just another movie alien or stereotypical down-trodden people displaced by the "white" man and not see the joy they have in life. One can only hope, but that's what I was sad about. I just wish that people would leave the movie with the positive outlook on life that the Na'vi had!

Well, I don't want to say that they where once experts and now that they have the money to say whatever they want and get away with it; that they truly are, but I don't know anything about the "experts" to be able to judge them. I definately think that all of the actors in Avatar deserve to be nominated because of everything they put into their performances, and the fact that they still managed to convey emotion and "be" the characters perfectly while, basically being in an empty room is quite amazing! At the very least many of the actors who portrayed the main characters should be on the nominations!
