today was the first day of break that i have been able to sleep as late as i please! and sleep late i did. lazy mornings/afternoons are my absolute favorite. i love being able to wake up at lunchtime and eat breakfast on the couch as slow as i please. the laziness didn't last for long, though, because i worked at the potter's shed (a cute little flower/gift/coffee shop in my hometown) for the evening. once i load my pictures from my camera onto my computer i will post about some of the Christmas festivities that have kept me so... so after eating those dozens of cookies with tara last night, i walked into my house to smell MORE cookies. my mom informed me that we had nothing else to eat in the house, so she made her special break-n-bake cookies to hold us over until supper, which in my opinion was AWESOME. cookies all the time. my mom had the house all cozy and decked out with her christmas decorations (peppermint swirl plates on the plate rack, little twigs with pinecones setting here & there, and her miniature porcelain wintertime village set up). so good to come home to....
