Whether you’re working in a laser-based or photo-based workflow, the ReCap family of products and services easily translates your reality capture data into meaningful and reliable 3D information that integrates seamlessly with Autodesk software
Interests: ReCap software allows you to integrate accurate reality data into your existing design workflow within Autodesk products (starting with 2014 versions). Begin your design process with true dimensions and full photo-quality context instead of starting from scratch. Manipulate reality-based models into a new design to analyze or use it to simulate real-world behavior.

Hi Scott, Thank you for your post To access the advance tools you may acquire recap360 subscription from this page: http://www.autodesk.com/products/recap/buy/recap-360 In short, the difference between Catch and ReCap is the targeted audience. Catch is free and ReCap will require 5 cloud credits (5$) for "ultra" resolution models. With ReCap more than 70 photos can be uploaded (up-to 250) and in the process all of the megapixels will be used for model generation, in Catch this is limited to around 7 megapixels. Memento is currently offered for free, while still in Autodesk Labs and mayor development.

Autodesk started a close collaboration with Artec, by integrating their Reality Computing software with two of Artec's most used handheld scanners. One great example is scanning of President Obama, and creating a 3D print by using the Eva. Video of this incredible project can be seen in this video. The integration has been done with Artec Eva, who is an ideal tool for capturing quick, accurate, and textured scans with up to 0.5mm of precision. The other handheld scanner is the Artec Spider, which is suitable for quality control, reverse engineering and mass production with up to 0.1mm of accuracy. Memento engine has also been optimized for working with high-detailed meshes, 3D models with million plus triangles that are hard to use in any other application (have been tested with over 400million polygonal mesh). Yes, one way is to share the project with the Gallery which doesn't require using an Autodesk account for viewing. From ReCap 360 you can share the project and select gallery. https://recap.autodesk.com/gallery/ At the moment there is no way to share these projects privately without using an Autodesk account.
