TO David Chavern: Lets examine your letter to the feminists. David: The trouble that it is an argument that doesn't explain a whole bunch of bad things. Why, for example, does the number of Fortune 500 women CEO's and senior managers seem to have topped out? ---I don't know David, has it?? Who's "fault" is this? David: That is a truth that impacts a whole bunch of women who have made a wide variety of work-life choices. ---Yes the lack of female CEOs certainly does impact a whole bunch of women who have made a wide variety of work-life choices. I agree. David: "It certainly isn't an outcome one would predict if all companies were really the "equal opportunity" (let alone "equal outcome") workplaces that Brad implies that they are." ---This is incorrect, Brad never said that, he said equal outcome should not be created by unequal means. Here is his quote: "Equality is a matter of ensuring equal access to opportunity, not ensuring identical outcomes" The "glass ceiling" is real and simply blaming it on women's work-life choices is ridiculous. ---What causes "the glass ceiling" then? If we know definitively that 75% of the wage gap is due to women's choices which create the Raw Wage Gap between all men and women in the workforce can we not also conclude that this median lower work output of women can affect their numbers of representation as CEOs. Jobs I might add that require a whole lot more hours and overtime? Listen I know you are doing damage control here and everyone is afraid of women and their organized political agency but do we really have to feed them with things like this to get them to go away? Do we really have to placate to them like this? If these women could not only would they have you both fired for speaking your thoughts, they would have you executed! Everyone is afraid to get women emotional because men lose their jobs like Lawrence Sommers did. Men are terrified of them. See link below in my other posts. We got to put our foot down and tell women how we plan on providing and protecting them. Obviously we can see that they can't do it themselves. They are advocating to be provided and protected from both ends here (both public and private) and it really makes it hard on all of us. Either we get it over with and socialize the support of women or we have men do it but the polices we have been making for women like Affirmative Action and other women only and women first laws really marginalizes men from being able to take on the role. Someone has to provide to them, either men, business or government. They are really making it hard on us here.

You wanted to be independent and liberated remember??? Take a look at the independence and liberation below: Example 1: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_IU3iQnIt6Nc/S9KUZA0bukI/AAAAAAAAAbA/GIi5TjovN8M/s1600/fertility.jpg Example 2: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_IU3iQnIt6Nc/TBS94FhQmPI/AAAAAAAAAb4/e-iWQV-qzqM/s1600/MMMMM.jpg Example 3: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_IU3iQnIt6Nc/SfvQAuMd87I/AAAAAAAAAJ0/_Q3YQiwyaV0/s1600-h/ScreenShot001.jpg Listen men have no jobs: You devoted the Stimulus to yourselves. The below graph ends in 2005 you should see male workforce participation now. Male jobs are gone. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_IU3iQnIt6Nc/SpglWAhNk2I/AAAAAAAAAP8/Z760HO7joOI/s1600-h/ScreenShot012.jpg
The Actual Wage Gap 5.85 cents: Get your numbers straight, there is no data for wage disparity "for the same job" "In 2006, women earned 76.6% as much as men) and is calculated by dividing the median annual earnings for women by the median annual earnings for men." http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0763170.htm Keep in mind the wage gap is what economists refer to as the Raw Wage Gap i.e. the median average wage disparity of all men and women in the workforce as is outlined above. It is NOT calculated for the same job as pop feminism would like you to believe. Lets continue... "After controlling for hours, occupation, parenthood, and other factors known to affect earnings, the research indicates that one-quarter of the pay gap remains unexplained" Source: American Association of University Women http://www.aauw.org/advocacy/issue_advocacy/actionpages/payequity.cfm So where does this leave us. Well the only part of the pay gap that is not explained by women's OWN CHOICES of hours worked, occupation, parenthood, and other factors of women's choices there is one quarter left of the Raw Wage Gap that is unexplained. The portion "unexplained" totals to 5.85 cents. Feminists attribute this "unexplained" portion to "sex discrimination". So not only is the 76 cents to the male dollar NOT FOR THE SAME JOB as feminists say but is the RAW WAGE GAP or "calculated by dividing the median annual earnings for women by the median annual earnings for men." furthermore the actual amount of this gap that is left after WOMEN'S OWN CHOICES ARE FACTORED IN is 5.85 cents. This amount according to the AAUW is "unexplained". This 5.85 cents when you factor in the average statistical margin of error of + or - 2 or 3% the wage gap becomes virtually non existent You wanted to be independent and liberated, joined the workforce, diluted the labor pool effectively lowering wages for men, then you want to leave the workforce and not be supported by men anymore but government and business. Listen we can have a free market and families supported by families or we can go the socialist route and support women by business and government money. The fact is that as much as women hate to admit it, someone has to support them. To be quite honest you have made it harder and harder on men to take on the job with "women first" Affirmative Action in job hirings and college admissions. You have women only scholarships and loans, you've changed curriculum models in schools and eradicated and semblance of competitive learning models that boys thrive in. You have diverted the Stimulus Package to women in the growing industries of health care and education though 80% of jobs lost have been to men. (See Article: No Country For Burly Men by Christina Hoff Sommers) Remember these are the same men that have to pay for dates, pay for you to stay home, though it is harder than ever before because of the very anti-male policies feminists have enacted. Remember these are the same men who are now getting their unemployment checks GARNISHED to send to you as woman support alimony and "child support". You obtain 60% of college degrees now and you are still not happy. Again, the fact is that someone has to support women, either men, business or government. With all your "equality" policies and secular gender representation and laws you have implemented in government, men can no longer afford to support you and neither can business or government. We are no in a really bad spot. Businesses can't even afford to pay for healthcare. How do you expect businesses to financially support pregnant woman and babies?
FURTHER MORE.... WHAT GIVES WOMEN THE RIGHT TO DEMAND SOMEONE BE FIRED FOR EXPRESSING THEIR OPINION!!!!! THAT MAN HAS A RIGHT TO SPEAK!! LOOK WHAT HAPPENED TO THE PRESIDENT OF HARVARD UNIVERSITY WHEN HE MENTIONED EMPIRICAL DATA IN AN ACADEMIC CONFERENCE! MEN HAVE THE FREEDOM OF SPEECH! YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE DOING THIS TO US! http://rebukingfeminism.blogspot.com/2009/07/harvard-university-lawrence-summers.html
