Just mail it back as usual from where you are out of town. They aren't joking when they say "Nearest Netflix Shipping Facility." It actually goes to the nearest netflix shipping facility. I just received 2 movies last week, one from ND, another from MO, I sent them both back Saturday as per usual, no blacking out parts of the label, and both were received Monday in Minneapolis, MN.

Perhaps take a look at Gamerang? Of course they don't compare to Netflix, but they do have distribution centers in CA, OK, MN, and NJ.

I get just about all my shipping supplies from Uline, check em' out: http://www.uline.com
Yeah, I think I've gotten one of those to date.
Queue order. Blockbuster only ships stuff within a 2 day radius of you, but that means that sometimes you just can't get a movie, even if it's marked as "Available."
I had a 4-out BBO plan, and I cancelled it mostly because I couldn't stand the constant skipping of the order of my queue. Not to mention that the Total Access is worthless to me, because in 2 weeks, I exhausted what I wanted to see in the store. The one time I mailed a movie back, and didn't return it to a store, it took them 3 days to mark it as received, and it's in the same city as me! I would have a movie at the top of my queue, available, and it would just skip it, multiple times. Never did get that movie... Netflix doesn't have it.

I've gotten one with every envelope that I've received in the past week or so.

I've never really noticed any advertising on the Netflix website.
Went into my local Blockbuster today with 4 of the Netflix address flaps. The guy looked at my dad and I and said something like "Hey guys, we're Blockbuster... we don't take these here." So I explained to him how it was a new Blockbuster thing until the 21st, and neither he nor the store manager had apparently heard about it. I then proceeded to show them a little flyer at the front of the store about it, and they were confused as to why Blockbuster would offer it, to which I explained it was to try and get people to switch from Netflix to BBO. Then he had to get the manager to come over and apply the discount, and they weren't quite sure what to do, but they got it done eventually.
Here in Minneapolis, almost all movies I return are marked as received the next business day, whether the envelope says it's going to Minneapolis or San Jose. They actually listen to the "Nearest Netflix Shipping Facility" note seriously.
The ink costs a boatload more than Amazon or Buy.com, both of which give me free shipping anyways. All the extra cost gives me is a way to get rid of my cartridges, rather than just throwing them in the garbage. Not worth it, at least for me.
