Thank you, Jeannine! I wish it hadn't taken me so long to fix it - I love the finished piece, and am anxious to start another one in the series! I also have Christmas at Hawk Run, so I'm torn between starting Autumn or Christmas.
Shores of Hawk Run Hollow | Cross Stitch
Friends, it's been a while since we chatted. I am very much a homebody, but I gotta tell ya, being home a lot for the past foreverandaday is taking its toll. One good thing about being home more, is that I've been able to finish up some very long-standing WIPs. Shores of Hawk Run Hollow is, b...

Hi Catherine! Thank you for the correct fabric color name! I'm so glad you got your fabric and will be stitching this soon. I loved stitching Snow Queen (as I do all the Mirabilia pieces I stitch ;)), and I hope you do, too!

Holy Heatwave, Batman. Did you guys cool off yet? Good Lord it was hot this weekend. I like summer, but not when you could legit cut the humidity with a carving knife. It's too much. I was dehydrated yesterday morning at 7am, and all I did was sleep. All of this means it’s only appropriate...
That's a bummer that Crystal Legacy wasn't available! Champagne Bubbles sounds equally as lovely, and sounds way fancier than Crystal Legacy. haha. I hope you were able to start stitching her this summer! :)
Miss Christmas Eve | Cross Stitch
You all know by now how much I love stitching Mirabilia pieces. I love them. The detail is incredible, and they never disappoint. As usual, when I start a Mirabilia piece, it's hard to put down. I swore I wouldn't start anything new (HAHAHA) until I was done at least one piece, but last Ma...
Hi Margaret! I think this would be wonderful to stitch for your sister and brother-in-law. How fortunate they were to be married by Father Judge!
Mychal's Prayer | Cross Stitch
Hello! Happy Thursday! Man, what a state we're all in, huh? I've been teleworking for what feels like decades. Although I am fortunate in that I have the ability to work from home, it has absolutely taken its toll. There's something to be said for getting up and going to work each day. Thi...
Hi Maggie!! I'm so excited you'll be stitching Miss Christmas Eve!! She is absolutely one of my favorites, and I hope you love stitching her as much as I did! :-)

Thanks, Robin! I think you may have mentioned Best Press to me before. I wrote it down so I won't forget this time! Thank you (and your stitching pal!) for the tip!
Be well and stay safe!
Basketful of Summertime | Cross Stitch
I don't know about where you guys are, but the end of last week gave us a little taste of summer, and now I want it. Bring me all the warmth and flowers and sunshine and poolside reading time. This lovely piece is Basketful of Summertime by With Thy Needle and Thread. This is yet another piece...
Thank you, Robin! I really do love this series. It's so much stitching, but well worth it in the end. I've been thinking about picking up either Yuletide Welcome, Liberty Welcome, or Ghoultide Welcome from Plum Street Samplers. I've had them in my "to be stitched next" pile for so long...it might be time to actually start one of them!
Quaker Christmas | Cross Stitch
It's been ages since I picked up my Quaker Christmas piece, "Faith", and I finished it last weekend. This is the second of a three-part series, "Joy", "Faith", and "Peace". I thought it was a perfect time to share this piece, given that we're all kinda anxious right now, not knowing when we ca...
Thank you, Robin! It's always so nice to hear from you. I'm so glad you're stitching daily! It's such a comfort, isn't it? Especially during this time. Ooooo how did you like that book? I'm always looking for good book recommendations!

Thank you, Lorraine!!
I looked up Dusk on the PtP website, and you're right, Dusk does look more grey than this piece that I have. It could be that it was mislabeled - Gothic and Mystic look closer to the fabric that I used; Phantom is also close, although darker with more purple. I would suggest choosing Gothic or Mystic instead of Dusk.
I did not use the crystal fabric, but I think that could look incredible. The crystal would give more sparkle, and look like snow :) .

Thanks, Dawn! The ravens' eyes are the black beads that are represented by the circle symbol. I wasn't sure I liked it when I stitched the beads on...so I actually ended up leaving the beads out.
Raven Queen in All Her Glory.
This piece is, by far, one of my absolute favorites that I've stitched. I've done a lot of cool pieces over the years, but since this one looks so much like Maleficent, my all-time favorite Disney villainess, Raven Queen ranks high on the list. This dress. If it wouldn't cost me my vital org...

Patriotic Poppies | Cross Stitch
Well, it's been a minute since I got it together and posted something, so without going into alllllll the gory details of why these past six months have literally flown past my eyeballs, I'll just dive right into my latest finish. Patriotic Poppies! I've been holding onto this pattern for a lo...

Be Ye Thankful | Cross Stitch
Hello friends! It's finally warming up to feel more like summer, and I'm loving every second. The past two weeks I've taken a break from Christmas stitching (my favorite kind of stitching, no matter the time of year), and worked on CE Cricket "Be Ye Thankful". I was feeling the need to work ...
