Orge, you sound like my husband. He says the problem is we are a rudderless ship - we have no strong leaders. In the past we have always had someone who rose to the occasion. No one seems to be doing that now.

They are the same people who protested the Vietnam War which resulted in us losing that war and walking away for the first time in our history. THAT resulted in the deaths of 3 million who had supported us there - it also resulted in diminishing the reputation of the United States. That was the first time the world knew we could be beaten and we could not be trusted. It has affected our relations with the world every since. There's a lot of blood on their hands and there will be more. But they have great portfolios and great retirement plans. It's all about 'me' right? The 'Me' generation. Those of us who still believe in honor, integrity and love of country are dinosaurs. Great rant, Cat :)

They lost it. I had to watch this game today - my husband is a graduate of UofM. So I had him watching the Michigan vs Ohio and my daughter (graduate of Alabama) watching the Alabama vs Auburn game calling to give husband a hard time about MI and give us updates on Alabama. My son even im'd from Iraq to find out how the games were going! So I played on the internet and cleaned house! I'm the non-football person around here. lol

Oh he is beautiful. I usually don't like dreadlocks - but the look works for him .... Tell hubby to make room for him :)

I heard the Day-Oh guy (I actually can't think of his name right now, it's late and I'm tired!lol) I heard him in an interview today say that Capitalism needed to be done away with as it encouraged a 'totalitarian dictatorship' like our administration. Isn't this the guy that was just all kissy-face with Chavez and Castro?? I think he's a very confused man. Anyway, since he obviously believes in communism - I'm waiting to get my share of his millions. :)

Hey VW, don't you know you aren't supposed to say those things!! It's not hip! lol I saw an ad for that movie today and it had the guys kissing females, I guess they are trying something different with their ad campaign since the movie is coming in last in the box office. They call it something like a 'classic love story for the ages'. Classic??? You know they'll call you a 'bigot' for saying these things :)
