I understand what you're going through too. My best guy friend is the same way. All the people he has put trust into & ever cared about has left him or betrayed him. I've been his best friend for 3 years & he wonders when I will betray him or when he will 'screw up' to push me away. When I've told him I would never leave him, & forgive whatever he does because he means so much to me. He may always be like that, but.. in my opinion, I'd rather have him in my life than not at all. I love him too much to not be around him.
