It became a butterfly
Hi Everyone, It's Barbara here with another one of my Sunday Inspirations. I have a card I want to share with you today using the beautiful butterfly punch, punch 901. I received a new stamp set the other day and one of the sentiments ties right in with the beautiful butterfly punch. The great thing about these punches, is the fact that they punch borders, corners, circles, they do what ever you want the punch to do. You can see that punch I used on this card, punched the corners showing 2 different corner presentations and I used the same... Continue reading

I thought it would look so cute on this little baby card. I made his card to go with a gift I am giving to a friend of mine. These punched flowers really are a great accent on this card. Pure Delight
Hi Everyone, It's Barbara and it's time for my Sunday Inspiration. I am so amazed its mid January already. It's really cold here in N.KY, we've been spoiled by a warmer that usual winter. I just received my new punches and I LOVE LOVE LOVE this punch I'm showing you today!! I've used punch 910 Vinca to make a border on the bottom of the card. And I love the way this punch seems to compliment the stamp I've used on this card. This stamp reminds me of summer, so I hope it will warm me up. Here is a closer pic... Continue reading

Welcome to 2012
Hi Everyone, Happy New Year and welcome to 2012. I am the first to post this year!! I thought about what to post for the new year and I finally decided to post this card using birds. The birds made me think how fast the new year flew in and that the rest of the year will probably fly by even faster. I added a border to the card using punch 918, and I think the curves really compliment the birds. The bow was made using the E-Z BowZ bow maker. Happy New Year to all and here's to a... Hi Everyone, Well in a week it will be all over won't it?? I have designed one last Christmas card for you today and I am using my favorite punch for christmas cards. And it worked so perfect with this design.I stamped the Santa image and then I colored him. Next, I used the Holly Punch - 914 and punched the left edge of the white panel. Next I used the Circle Cutter to cut a half circle on the right side of the panel. I also cut another half circle using red card stock and mounted together. I added... Continue reading

Christmas is on it's Way
Hi Everyone It's Barbara and I am back with my second last post for this year. You know Christmas will be here in 3 weeks!! Whoa, where has the year gone??? I know you all are getting ready for the holidays and I thought 'd share this card with you. I've wanted to make this for a while. The wreath was made by cutting sprigs that are on the Tim Holtz Alterations Sizzix Tattered Pinecone die.I shaped those into a circle and then added rhinestones. The verse in the center says it all doesn't it. To finish this card off,... Continue reading

Dream
Hi Everyone, Barbara here, and I am back with another one of my Sunday Inspirations. I know we are gearing up for Thanksgiving and Christmas, however recently I was thinking ahead.(That's scary isn't it - LOL) I had recently ordered 2 new punches that contain hearts, so I decided to jump the holiday gun so to speak, and use one of these new heart punches now. Today's card uses punch 911, appropriately called Hearts, and it is a winner as far as I am concerned. I made a frame and punched the corners first with insert C, then I used... Continue reading

A Child is a Precious Gift
Hi Everyone, It's Barbara and I'm here with another one of my Sunday inspirations.I just received some punches that I had ordered and I the one I chose to use on this card goes great with the flowers in the stamped image. The punch I used is 903-Flowers. In using this punch, I was trying to make a lace look alike and am really happy with the way the "lacy" border turned out. The Kreations punches are so versatile and the selection is really great. The 4 -in-one punches are perfect in that you can get 4 different looks with... Continue reading

Time for Wine
Welcome back to another one of my Sunday Inspirations. Today I used Kreations Star Stencil Octagon to make a doily. That stencil is so easy to use and it makes a great 8 sided doily. I used a punch that is new to Just Imagine Crafts, punch 310 and the doily looked so nice I decided to make it the star attraction by attaching it to the dark blue rosette. I also used that same punch as a border on the side of the card to tie it all together. To make the circle in the upper left corner of the... Continue reading

Check the 4 new punches here.Today I am showcasing punch 311 and as soon as I saw it, I thought of butterflies. As I played with this punch I wondered if I could get it to punch all the way around a card stock panel. I did and I was even able to get the look I had envisioned. I also wanted to weave... Smile with your Heart
Hi Everyone, It's Barbara here again with another Sunday Inspiration. I recently received a great punch that has hearts on it.It's punch 917 and I had envisioned using it for Valentine's Day and I'm sure I will. However the punch goes great with this stamp set that I used for todays card. It's funny how things just fall in place. The 4 in 1 punches are quite the bargain. What other punches give you all that versatility with one punch. I am really always amazed at the different looks you can achieve when you use the inserts that come with... Continue reading

Holiday Cheer
Hi Stampers, It's Barbara with another Sunday Inspiration. Since the kids are headed back to school, the holidays are not too far behind. And you know what that means..... time to start thinking about Christmas/Holiday cards. So with that in mind, here is a holiday card design for you to take a look at. I used punch 914-Holly to create the border on the white CS. I used no inserts when I made this border. I love the fact it goes so well with the holly I added to the card. What a perfect punch to use on your holiday cards. Punches... Continue reading

Christmas Bells
Hi Everyone, Barbara here and it's time for a Sunday Inspiration. It's been so hot here in the midwest I thought I'd make a Christmas card to cool off. Well, I didn't get any cooler but I decided this is probably going to be my Christmas card for the upcoming season. I love working with Petallics (a shimmery card stock) and silver CS , however they are tough to photograph.so,I apologize for the glare, I took so many pic's and never did get rid of the glare. This card is a trifold design and the card stock is a beautiful... Continue reading

Turning Squares into Flowers
Hi Everyone, Barbara here with another Sunday Inspiration. The technique I am sharing with you today is a great flower maker and can be used with scrapbook paper and also works great with vellum. These flowers will look great on a layout as well as a card. I used vellum on the instructional pictures and on the 1st card. Start out with squares, I cut 2 -3" vellum squares and 2 - 2 1/2" vellum squares. Next fold in half on the first side , turn your square and fold in half on the 2nd side. Next, mark a dot... Borders and more
Hi Everyone!!! Barbara here with my Sunday Inspirations post!! Thought I'd try colors that I don't normally put together, or maybe I'm too too color conscious. Peach and red and green. Hmmmm......... I got my new punches out to make a few borders and added these border strips to my card front. I used punch 923, punch 901, punch 306, border punch 804 for those strips and that cute butterfly is punch 604. I added scored lines to the vellum piece and it looks great in the back of the poppy. And I love the fact that the border strips... Continue reading

Sweet
Hi there!!! It's Barbara here with my Sunday Inspirations post. I wanted to share with you one of the new punches that I just received. It's punch 804. This punch makes a great border and that is how I used it on todays card. I love the detail on this punch. The pieces that make up this punch are smaller but the punch gives a very very crisp design and look how the color of the underlying paper shows thru. That's what makes this punch so cool. When I punched the border I just started with the punched image on... Continue reading

Summer is here
Hi Everyone It's Barbara here and it's time for another one of my Sunday Inspirations. I was watching a short video the other day showing how to make a mitered frame from a different brand of punches and I thought that could be done with the punches here. So I went to work on this card design and I know you will really love it. Since I was starting off with a frame I wanted to show it off so I decided to attach the frame to a transparency (I used a 10 mil transparency)and I used the challenge sketch... Continue reading
