Thanks JRB for both Kind words and actions. I've very interested if you like JR. It's now #3 on my next read list with a bullet. Not suggesting a reading club, mind. But if you like it you'll love it cause it gets better through the rotations, and you'll know early whether you like it or not.

I love everything from Rubber Soul on - it's the basis of what music taste I have - I've just heard them so many times they're imprinted on my brain for easy retrieval. I dig Built to Spill - I think they were in the 30's of that silly-ass poll; I'll publish a link to the whole poll if and when KEXP puts in on their blog.

I see Hughes' poems often in the places I visit both physical and virtual and I try again and again - a dear friend and excellent poetry reader *loves* Hughes, so I'm sure it's my lack, not Hughes'. My theory is his rhythms don't work for me more than the language or content doesn't work for me. I downloaded blooger a couple of months ago, the previous time motherfucking typepad pissed me off, but haven't poked around. I'll look and see if it sucks less, then decide, if yes, whether it's worth the hassle of uprooting not only me but all of the dozens of Kind people who follow this shitty blog.
