I need to stop forgetting!!
I always forget that I made this blog... kinda sad huh? Maybe its because I need more readers, and if I had more, I would post more often?? *HINT HINT* Not too much has been going on in the last month or so. I'm still pregnant of course... this little bundle of joy is still cooking. Addison is doing awesome! She is getting so big, its crazy! She is so smart too! I've been alright, been through some rough waters, but now I'm back on track! Everyone I'm sure, knows what thats like!! I think being pregnant just amplifies things... Continue reading

Too long
Its been a while since I last updated. Not much is going on, mostly just the same as before, taking care of Addison, being pregnant, working.. all that wonderful stuff! Not much else... I'm thinking about volunteering with the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, so that will be interesting. I just emailed them today because they are looking for volunteers. I think it would be a great opportunity! Yes, it is volunteering, I won't be getting paid, but in the time that I'd be working I'd get free childcare for Addison, so that is more than worth it!! Plus, I'd feel... Continue reading

Finally Saturday!
YAY!!! The day has finally come!! Addison's First Birthday! What an exciting day. The party is today at 2 and there is still so much more to get done! I already baked and decorated the cake, so at least thats done! But we need to go pick up balloons, get a bib, the truck's tire is in the process of being replaced as we speak.. So hopefully that'll be done in time for all the running around! Addison is taking a nap so she'll be nice and ready for her party! I think I'm about to crash out for a... Continue reading

"Snow Advisory"
Does it make anyone else laugh that they close down the base till 10:30 because our area might get some snow.... Not even like an inch... but some, that might stick. Being from Michigan I think its funny, but I know a lot of people around here aren't from somewhere with snow. And then you add all the tuner cars with tires that aren't made for snow. Things just end up going crazy! Like I said, even when its a normal day out people get into too many accidents! Continue reading

UGH!
Remember how yesterday I said that money was an issue no matter what? UGH! Boy did I set myself up! Well that comment that said "you pay off a credit card and the car needs new tires?" Well... We woke up this morning to a flat tire.... and not just a normal cheap tire either.... BIG FRICKEN MUD TIRES! UGH UGH UGH! Now we might have to reschedule Addison's birthday party... I really don't want to, but if we don't fix the tire, we won't be able to even get to the party! Gosh I hate this! I was so... Continue reading

Work, work, all day long...
Well, maybe not all day. But for most of the afternoon and evening. Here is a topic for everyone - Military or not - MONEY! The simple fact that there is never enough. No matter how much you make. Well... i guess I wouldn't say that... There is never enough for a "normal" person/family. It always seems like there are more bills than money... And when you finally catch up a little bit, something else happens to put you right back in the hole. Pay off a credit card and the car needs new tires, get a little extra in... Continue reading

January 6th
So last month I had and OB appointment on the 15th and they told me to schedule an appointment 4 weeks after. The people who schedule the appointments weren't there that day so I figured I'd just call. Well of course being a Naval Hospital it is IMPOSSIBLE to ever get ahold of anyone! UGH! Well finally today I got a call back from a message I had left a while ago... The receptionist got kinda snippy with me, which made me mad. But of course being nice I didn't say anything about it. Anyway. I go to make the... Continue reading

I HATE Traffic!
Anyone else notice that in a Military town the traffic ALWAYS sucks? Its like they took the nations worst drivers and threw them all into this little place. Especially here, near Camp lejeune! Today, while we were on our way out to a party supply store in town, we saw this really bad "collision" (my husband thinks that accident is an improper term because all car "accidents" can be avoided). There were like 4 cars involved and it backed traffic up for what seemed like forever! And then all the people in the cars passing by suddenly seem to get... Continue reading

Good Morning World!
My husband can sleep like a rock through absolutely anything! I'd have to say that ability comes from boot camp, sleeping at the barracks, and being deployed. My husband always jokes that he could sleep through a bomb going off and I believe it! But me, I wake up to the sound of the wind blowing outside my window! Lately though, my problem has been with my husband! HE SNORES! UGH! But only when he lays on his right side, the side that faces me! He claims he doesn't snore at all! I try not to say anything while hes... Continue reading

An Introduction to Me
I decided to start writing my experiences in a blog. Maybe to help others in my situation, maybe to get advice from people who have been where I am, maybe just to help relieve some of the daily pressures I face... Any of these reasons are legit I guess! As of January 1, 2010 my husband and I have been married for 2 years. Time really flies! Being a Marine's Wife has changed my life tremendously. I guess I never thought that the change would be so dramatic, but it sure was! After 2 years, I'm not sure that I... Continue reading
