oh my god, your SO right...these words are sooo beautiful and special. Each time I open the book I have to read them and I almost want to cry after. Wish they were in the movie...
Btw, I do the same too, I buy every book I adore and read it MANY MANY times...it's good to know I'm not the only one who does that :)

when i love a book i tend to read it a couple of times. so i was rereading dear john today.... and the ending quote is amazing "but instead i stay where i am and state up at the moon as well. and for the briefest instant it almost feels like we're together again" HOW AMAZING!!!!
