Is'nt she Lovely? I asked Clarrisa to model my newest creations at Eve's Revolution Garden Party on July 20th, 2013 and it was a BLAST! Congratulations Tyler and the Colorado HAWKS. The HAWKS have done really well this summer winning several tournaments & part of his team won the 3on3 tourney yesterday in Denver. It is hard to believe Tyler will be turning 14 years old soon. At 6'2 he is almost taller than Nicholas. This summer has been crazy busy! Ty was able to travel to Las Vegas, Wichita, and several tournaments this summer in Denver. Nicholas turned 19 in July, and was here the whole summer. I was super excited to get the call that I was chosen to be a participant in the Old Glory Antiques Fair this year! I was chosen to be in the Mercantile Tent which includes is a special collection of hand-crafted & artisan goods, featuring jewelry, paper goods, home decor, up-cycled art, and more! This summer I traveled to Utah for the second time with my friend Jamie to SNAP. It is a Blogging Convention held @ Thanksgiving Point, Lehi, UT. A place where imaginative bloggers come together; learn from one another, dream, and walk away invigorated. This place inspires me more than words can say. I had the honor of meeting Jo Packham. Everyone has been asking where have I been? This is Carla my dear sweet, Mother-in-Law. We thought we would be visiting in TX for a week, for surgery. We never thought of the worse....We were there for 3 weeks. Life is so precious & we should all live every day like it is our last. I was so happy Nicholas was home from college, and Tyler was there. This class was very special to me. Special, because I have never taught my own class. I have had the privilege of being a Lead Instructor. But taught other's classes. I have designed weekly mania theme's. I have designed weekly chalk boards. I have traveled with some of the top designer's of the industry to help them teach. Here it is! The wreath that Jamie and I designed for the very first class at the Emporium. We sat down and sketched out a little drawing of what we imagined our project would look like. The wreath will be made of burlap, chip board, french book paper, & a rhinestone brooch. Here are a few other wreaths I made in the process.... Hello everyone! Today I wanted to share a few pieces of furniture I have been working on. I have been very lucky finding some really nice pieces. Here is a table I purchased from a garage sale. $10 was an awesome deal. Here it is after I restained it.... I bought it for Bonne'Bella thinking I would paint it cream. Maybe shabby it all up. This year I am so gratefull that Nicholas will be coming home for the Holidays. I just got to see him at Thanksgiving, and so blessed that he gets to come home again this year. What a TOTAL BLAST! Girls Night out was a huge sucess! We celebrated our first event called Girls Night Out. Everyone had so much fun! Here I am with my friends (Val-Bonnie-Sue-Jamie) having a wonderful time. These girls are so special to me. Let me tell you about "Starlighting 2012". This year marked the 77th year of Starlighting. It was celebrated in Castle Rock, Colorado on November 17th, 2012. The Castle Rock "Lighting of the Star" has been a community event shared by residents dating back to 1935.
