(Gee, and if I click on Hollister I get the chance to buy some Abercrombie and Fitch. Uh-huh; that's the demographic profile of your blog regulars, I bet...) Anyway, back to the posting: you think Chicago's got anything on our crooks? Nah; we can match anyone's hackerama.

You should read the comments on the Boston Herald article announcing same. We're all devastated.

Good point. Some might suggest that due to lifestyle, Barney is capable SBDs only.

Gotta say that I'm a little surprised you don't have the clip of Barney Frank breaking wind in the middle of his interview with Rachel Maddow. Now THAT's ripe for comments.

Hey, it's not so bad. I'm sure they'll come up with something you can do to keep active. How about a bike? That shouldn't be too much on the knee. This is the kind of post that sort of invites comparative stories (see Aggie, for example), so here's my add: Plantar faciitis in the left foot. Not too horrible because it'll loosen up and can be treated. Gout in the right foot, with two severe attacks before I figured out what the hell was going on. You wanna know about pain, then get gout. Yikes. Talk about curtailing running... Spitz nevis on the right shoulder requiring about 3 square inches of dermis cut out. Not so bad, and a great job stitching things back together. Stay out of the sun, Paulie. Rotator cuff surgery coming up on the same shoulder, probably next month, essentially ending my call-up in September for the Red Sox run to the World Series. The ortho told me to expect this after doing the left shoulder in 2009, putting a stop to my majestic 300+ yard drives. But the worst insult was seeing friends at a wake the other night that I hadn't seen in 15 or so years. "Red-man! Where's the red hair?" Sheesh. Getting old is unfair. You have my sympathy. Can Obama fix this?

Granted. But the point is that x number of jobs are going up in smoke.... again. (btw: I thought the USPS as a quasi-government agency relied more on revenue generated for operations?) This, in the Summer of Recovery II.

Well, um, yes. That's the model, it's just that THEY do it wrong. WE'LL do it right and everyone will get low-cost or probably free health care, and never have to wait and top quality service and get organ transplants and the latest technology and pixie dust with every tonsillectomy. And rides on unicorns to the ER. But don't worry, nobody will have to wait once they get there because those 16,000 new IRS agents will be doubling as ER surgeons. And the doctors will pay US! It'll be awesome.

While acquired via alternate methods (thank you, Boston Red Sox, circa 2007), this owner of the initial WAMK t-shirt expects to be a recipient of the second edition as well. Of course that would be AFTER Aggie receives hers...not going to cross that little hellcat. But ahead of piker.

Very impressive, says the former guest star on "This Old House" (me). The two worst parts of that project are sanding the joint compound and getting the door hung properly. Well done. But get the paint on there...

I'm getting the sense that piker is about to get his ban lifted. Which I'm all for, btw. Kinda miss having a whipping [boy] around here.

Herb, the page is already unavailable. Taking a tip from the liberal bloggers and blacklisting, are you? Anyway, I can kind of see you as a Bieber fan; just try not to stalk as that might embarrass the family.
