OpenID Isnt working today. I was unable to comment with my wordpress or blogger accounts. Marty you already have G+ so if you want a free blog go for blogger you get nice integration with google services too but if you consider something closer to the linux nature (open, free, no restrictions etc) then get a self hosted wordpress site.
The Great Features of KDE Workspaces and Applications - The prelude
Quite often I hear from people things like "how could you downgrade you MacBook by installing Linux on it?!" or "is KDE4 finally better than the crap it used to be?" or, the better ones, "what's that nice Windows theme you're using?". I'd like to answer to all of these questions in a series of b...

Great news and amazing work Martin! Love to see the digikam and facebook integration and looking forward for some more akonadi feeders in the future like linkedin and gist.com or even buddypress. Will any of this goodness be complete or in testing mode with the 4.8 release? Any use of the marble on this? Maybe QZeitgeist?
GSoC wrap-up - When Persons go into a library (aka PIMO:Person integration)

GSoC: PIM, Nepomuk and Telepathy
So I've made it into GSoC this year and I'm very grateful to all those who put faith in my project proposal. For those not yet familiar with it, let me introduce it to you. Nepomuk is being used more and more by applications and is becoming a corner stone of KDE. Simply speaking, Nepomuk is an i...
Another suggestion for a next version will be to replace the contact list with something fresh like this project is (maybe something like the polka project?) im so excited about the telepathy kde project but isn't the best option to keep the same traditional looks of the contact list of pidgin/kopete in a 2011 plasma interface. I should also say many thanks for all your efforts. cant wait for the release.

Yet another update from KDE-Telepathy land
...still not the "release post" though. We're working hard on it, trust me. But as David already pointed out, there are still few bugs blocking the release, which we want to sort out first. But let's take a look at some of the things we've been working on, starting with contact list (surprise!...
