Fair enough question, Tim. I just don't think any present party would be willing to adopt and forever guard such values. Sure some would cherry pick the ones they like, but as time goes on, they'll let the radical left erode the values. Look how now the LNP Fed gov't is back tracking on section 18c of the racial discrimination act. the whole section needs to go, yet the Gov't has allowed the left to make them pause an maybe, just remove one or two words at best. It's this type of weakness that needs to be avoided.

Brian, and this: Slavery is explicitly permitted in the Koran. Recently Sheikh Saleh Al-Fawzan, a prominent Saudi religious leader called for slavery to be re-legalized throughout the kingdom. According to the Sheik, a member of the Senior Council of Clerics: "Slavery is a part of Islam. Slavery is part of jihad, and jihad will remain as long there is Islam." In thought and deed this way of thinking is common throughout the Islamic world. Abu Ishaq al-Huwanini, an Egyptian Cleric proudly proclaims he wishes to apply the ancient Shar'i code of enslaving populations which refuse to pay the jizia (poll tax) or converting to Islam when defeated at the hands of a Muslim nation. He states: "When I want a sex slave, I go to the market and pick whichever female I desire and buy her" http://www.americanthinker.com/2013/04/let_my_people_go.html#ixzz2Rio4YgeW

Yet you don’t like what I have to say and suggest I should leave my country of birth. You’re a weird mofo.

Be under no illusion about who is really running this Government. The Elite first fought in the name of Religion, then Communism, then Terrorism and now in the name of Climate Change. Their excuses for global domination always change but their aim remains the same - Domination. Special thanks to Wakeup2theLies for the video. Greg Combet says Lord Monckton is an extremist. Yet he’s a member of the Government in bed with Green extremists. Go Figure
The reference to Al Gore starts at 2:10 into the video. Below is the actual text. Unfortunately for the Netherlands, and especially the city of Dordrecht, which has been hard-hit by floods several times in its history, Huibers’ ominous dream of 20 years ago has become more of a reality. In the Oscar-winning documentary “An Inconvenient Truth,” former U.S. Vice President Al Gore warned of the future melting of Greenland’s ice, which he said would be “absolutely devastating” to the low-lying Netherlands. How refreshing for someone with Mr. Murray’s standing to question the AGW scam. Interviewer: Colleen Ryan, The Australian Financial Review. MURRAY: "[Carbon dioxide] has got nothing to do with pollution." RYAN: “What do of you mean?” MURRAY: "Well carbon dioxide is not a pollutant, it is colourless and odourless. It is not a pollutant." RYAN: “Yes, but it is still bad for greenhouse gases?” MURRAY: "No it isn't. It is a tiny proportion of greenhouse gases." RYAN: “So, if you believe in the warming of the planet, it is a tiny proportion of that?” MURRAY: "There is no correlation between... Continue reading

Let’s start out with some agreed facts. Atmospheric Carbon Dioxide – 0.0385%. Earth's annual production of Carbon Dioxide is almost entirely by Nature, 97%. Human activity including industry and transport produces just 3%. Australian Human activity contributes 1.5% of the 3% of total Human activity or a measly 0.045% Let’s put this factual information into a perspective we can easily understand. The MCG has a Stadium Capacity of approximately 100,000 people. Out of 100,000 people, atmospheric Carbon Dioxide would represent just 38 people. Out of 100,000 people, Human produced Carbon Dioxide would represent just 1 person. (If the crowd increased... Continue reading

The plan by Health Minister Nicola Roxon will require tobacco companies to print their brand name in a specific font on an ugly green package. The only thing missing from the ugly green package is a Red Star – until now. As with the Carbon Dioxide tax, Australia will be the first country in the world to mandate plain packaging of cigarettes. So what’s next? Plain packaging for: Soft Drinks Sports Drinks Caffeine Drinks Beer Wine Spirits Potato Chips Fast Food Ice Cream Yogurt Chewing Gum Biscuits Candy and Chocolate Feel free to add to the list. Once the door... Continue reading

But despite his worries, the Tasmanian MP says he is not considering shifting his support to the Opposition. Good to see Hail Hitler Wilkie’s moral compass still remains intact… Wilkie should check his own “moral compass” to see if it’s still pointing “north”. Ever since he got into bed with Julia Gillard his “moral compass” appears to now be pointing “south”, just like Ms. Gillard’s primary vote. Wilkie will be a one term wonder. North-westerly winds pushed the giant column of ash from the Chilean volcano, located 870 kilometres south of the capital Santiago near the border with Argentina, into Chile's Lago Ranco area. Bariloche, located about 100 kilometers east of the volcano, had covered in a sooty blanket of several centimetres thick and remained under a state of emergency. The picturesque town, as well as others in the vicinity affected by the ash, welcomes thousands of foreign tourists each year to its lakes and mountain scenery, as well as ski slopes in the winter months. Chile has some 3,000 volcanoes, of which some... Continue reading

In what can only be described as a bizarre example of life imitating art, we see here in Australia the same struggle between the noble Liberal National Autobots™, and the devious Labor-Green DeceptiCONS™. Colin McKay writes how some Governments are taking over pension funds to cover their budget bottom lines and how it could happen here. From the Washington Post, 17 May 2011: Treasury to tap pensions to help fund government The Obama administration will begin to tap federal retiree programs to help fund operations after the government lost its ability Monday to borrow more money from the public, adding urgency to efforts in Washington to fashion a compromise over the debt. Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner has warned for months that the government would soon hit the $14.3 trillion debt ceiling —... Continue reading
