I think the level of rowdy depends on where you sit. The upper decks are MUCH calmer than downstairs or the left pavilion anymore, which is sad because you pay a LOT for a downstairs ticket. The only problem I ever had was with a drunk SF fan on the field level. I like reserve level best, in terms of idiots, as there are a lot of long-time season ticket holders there.

you've got a point there, about Romney probably not being much of a fiction reader. Those are some fine choices on your end, though.

Very interesting, and as with most interesting posts, I will have to think on it for a bit before I comment. I will say this much, though. When you say God's plan, man's choice, it reminds me of a parent and a child. Again, God is the wise parent, and we the children have been provided with a choice. Like most choices, there's a better option and a worse option, and we need to learn to look for the right choice. Faith is never easy, and if it was, it wouldn't be important.

Thanks for the link. I just spent 20 minutes adding places from my childhood. And the place where my husband proposed to me. It's no longer there, and it was a treat to get a picture of it!

It was cancer of the soul. He was an alcoholic and he had other demons, too. I hope he has found his peace.

How appropriate. Must have been somewhat comforting to the family to know that nothing's changed, even in death :) And it's a story I'm sure you'll be telling in the family for years :) Glad you made it there and back safe.
