Sadly, cheaper wines usually come with rubber "corks" and this makes my collection dramatically less. I'm going to make a trivet out of these. Otherwise I just throw them away.

Watayaknow? You are correct! I have used that washcloth method before and it definitely works. I even go one step further and formula or juice in the cloth to really get them going at it. I have to say, I am an extremely resourceful mama. I got tricks up my sleeves I ain't even used yet!
The problem with the washcloth method is that it last for maybe 15 minutes and that just won't cut it at night. That's why I medicate her in the evening which is also when her teething seems to be at its worse.
teething little girl & a to-do list
Exie's not so good at teething. Atticus' first two teeth broke through and he was miserable but didn't fuss too much with any of the other teeth that came afterward. Exie's a different story (what's new?). It probably isn't helpful that she usually has about four or five teeth coming in at the s...
I am beyond proud of my kids. I am overwhelmed at times with joy and happiness just by looking at them. I truly feel as if I could explode.
inventing traditions
Yesterday I was supposed to meet up with someone from a play group at Barnes & Noble for coffee. I've been trying to find a play group for the kids and this one seems promising. Unfortunately, I never found the person that was supposed to be there. In fact, no moms were there! Just Atticus and I...
He's actually sort of scared of big dogs right now. I think he just gets nervous with any animal that's larger than him. I certainly won't be raising any children that harbor a fear of any animal.
Trustworty? Hmm, not sure. He's only almost 3 and trustworthy isn't really a word that I would use to describe him. He's definitely a good kid- but he's TOTALLY a 3 year old, if you get my drift.
atticus counting
If Atticus ate some poop then I've blocked it from my consciousness. From what I saw, he had a massive blow out in his diaper while eating dinner. One thing led to another and he was using his poo to draw on the table. He's such a gentleman. O_o
the kids are alright
I can't get the kids to eat breakfast anymore. Atticus has never been much of a breakfast eater and I think Exie is just following suit. Is this my fault? Actually, it probably is. I rarely eat breakfast. In the morning I want my coffee and the idea of eating is just not on my mind- I have other...
I did a small amount of post processing giving it a sepia tone. I try very hard to not process too much unless I'm creating a mood with a boring piece. I knew this was already dramatic enough without doing much to it. I actually have a lot of pictures like this if you're interested. I can post them on my Flickr account if you'd like to look at them.

Isn't that the cutest Matchbox car?!

First, wow, thanks for all the comments Sharon. I do appreciate them. And I agree about the white in the lower left corner. I'm learning! I think it would look a lot better if it were darker.
