I have had a lot of changes over the past two years and sometimes with all that change comes a need to start over fresh. So here I go, I'm moving once more!... ...But this time I'm not moving houses, I'm just moving my blog and changing it's name, Lily... Continue reading

Hi Kate! Do you mean the table with the pictures sitting on it? If so, it's a side table from Restoration Hardware.

Hi Cindy! I haven't tried the scanner yet just because I have a scanning app on my ipad which is super quick and easy. But I do love the 6 inks on this printer and with the extra grey ink black and white prints come out beautifully! I also should say I lucked out when I bought this printer because Staples had it on sale for 50% off which was an added bonus! :)

I get asked a lot about how I print my PL photos and what kind of paper I use so I thought I'd share my most favourite Project Life go to tools today. First up, my printer. I used to have the Canon Selphy CP900 which I loved dearly, but... Continue reading

As I get older I think more and more about what I put into my body and on it. I read that as much as 60% of topical skin-care products are absorbed through the skin and into the bloodstream which really got me thinking about the products I use. First,... Continue reading

Hi Liz, thanks so much for your question. I should probably do a tutorial on this question because Ive had it a number of times. What you want to do is take your rectangular marquee tool and put a box over the image you want to cover up. Then go to create a New Fill Layer - Solid Color under your Layer menu. You can use the dropper to change the fill layer to any color you want. Because the In Review Cards have a white background you can also just drag the circle icon in the color box to the top left corner or of course just type #ffffff in the color number box. Hope that helps. Carly :)

Your first line totally made me smile and Ive see your IG feed, youve created lots of PL pages! Beautiful pages! Also, Im totally going to look for that book you suggested, Living with Less: How to Downsize to 10 personal possessions. Like you I dont think I could go down to 100 things, but I always love reading ideas on living with less and every bit of motivation helps. Have a great weekend and enjoy our amazing weather!

As part of my mission to find more simplicity in my life I've decided to dramatically downsize my closet. I'm unpacking and purging at the same time which to be honest has slowed the process down a lot, but over this past year and a half of moves and purges... Continue reading

Thank you so much Michelle for the lovely words and I really hope one day to be living in a house for 9.5 years! It would be wonderful to be somewhere long enough to build some solid memories. Have a beautiful Monday!

Hi Gina!! Good for you for donating a bunch of stuff. I know when I purge I always feel better if I donate it and at least someone else might make use of it. As for your elderly mom, I can totally relate, we are trying to help my grandma purge, she's 90, and it's really hard for her to let go, but we are tackling it slowly and giving her time to enjoy the item before we box it up. It seems to be working so far. We have also agreed to put all the boxes in storage for a period of time just incase she changes her mind and knowing that seems to make the process easier for her.

Hi June! I'm married to someone that loves to keep things as well, but we have agreed to take this simplicity pledge together so we'll see how it goes. :) I think all the moving, packing and unpacking made him want to downsize and live with a little lighter of a load.

Thanks Sylvia! Purging can be so hard because I'm pretty sentimental, but I'm starting to find ways to let go more and more, and I read somewhere that "the fewer things you keep, the more special they are" which is so true.
