It had been 330 DAYS, 47 WEEKS, 7920 HOURS, 475,200 MINUTES, and 2,851,200 SECONDS since I had seen you last.... Then all of a sudden that clock stopped and you were somewhere in the same room as me at the Dear John Premiere in Los Angeles. I did my best not to look for you and pretend like I did...
Thank you Chloe... it's just hard ...most people get to see the person at a funeral when they die..but there was no body so it was like there was no death to me.. I hate hearing about soldiers going away to fight for this.. I think what they are doing is so courageous and heroic but its putting their families in a fateful waiting game like ours went through...except they wait for a lot longer.. Its good to have his voice though because I had forgotten what it sounded like.. i've listened to it 13 times so far in the last 20 mins..

Today was the 2nd time I listened to the voice mail my father left on the phone September 11th 2001.... It was so hard to hear him try to reassure my family that things will be okay although I could hear in his voice they wouldn't. I remember my first year in high school seeing what was going on ...
Thank you... when dear john came out and I saw the previews of all the men having to leave their families and loved ones.. it kept rolling through my head how it is kind of the same thing as the families of the world trade centre. I am so proud of the men and women out there who are defending the people who were taken so soon.. It has been hard to deal with and today feels like a major milestone to me.. So thank you Channing tatum for starting this site :D I feel better although im crying I feel better :)
