These lines are so cute, they are making my ovaries ache! My toddler had this habit of coming to our bed in the middle of the night with the complaint that it was "raining in my room." Of course, it wasn't raining in his room. But we thought that was the funniest excuse to climb into bed with us. But one night I was in his room and had an "aha!" moment. There was a tree branch near his window and when the wind blew just right, it made the branch brush lightly against the window, sounding just like rain. I felt kind of bad for disbelieving my son all that time. It was raining in his room, or it at least it sounded like it was.
