he took real life problems & lifeforms(definitly pondered over them) and transferred them into an amazing sci-fi film. all of the alien life forms are derrived from terrestrial beings...they have earth like similarities. Even a humanbeings need for a higher spiritual power is equated into the Na'vi culture. That's one reason it's so appealing to us...we can relate. Mr. Cameron has done an INCREDIBLE job as well as the actors & all else who participated...nevertheless we all must realize we humans get ideas by using the mind that has been given us & using things that are already near us even though we may not realize it.
