I wish some one would say this to my ex

I loved him, love him still. We broke up 3 months ago almost. It was the day after our 1 year anniversary. We'd been friends before we started dating and it was the happiest I'd ever been, then things got really hard for us, in our lives out side of our relationship and it kind of killed our relationship. I want him back more than anything, but it seems he's moved on. I've tried to make him see that I love him and we were worth fighting for but that only made things worse, so now I want to be his friend, because we were apart for winter break and came back and now he's acting like his old self again. He's acting like the man I fell in love with. I'm so scared that this means he's truly over me. I can't stand the idea of him not loving me like he used to. but i want to try and be friends. if I can't have him as my bf is it worth trying to be his friend.
