That was brilliant Tilly. Thank you for explaining how to use Transfer Artists Paper. I must get some and try it out for myself. Can I ask Tilly a couple of questions? Do you think I could use it on a pillowcase? Were there any colours which worked better than others? How long did the paper need ironing for? Pam, I think Lesley Riley should see Tilly in action. She might need to keep her eye out for this young lady.

Your quilting journeys are fascinating but I'm not sure that many will be as interesting as the Bayeux. The viking ship is so detailed. I cannot wait for the unveiling of the masterpiece. I eagerly await every post of its progress.

I admire your discipline Pam but I don't think I could ever function at 4am! What a labour of love the Bayeux is. Finishing will be a bittersweetending to a very long 'pregnancy'.

I know where you are coming from Lisa. I also did something quick and simple today, just so I could say I sewed this weekend. What a cute growth chart and those sheep sure are cute!

Congratulations to Jamie and also to all of those involved in bringing these stories to the public. They are performing a very brave and important role. I hope they are justly rewarded with the appropriate recognition.

Pam your photos are a visual delight once again. The loon is stunning. I could just imagine one of them made using black and white prints. How precious is the little one on mum's back? As for 'toad in a hole' - very witty. This looks like a wonderfully relaxing spot to put your feet up and recharge for a while.

Three quilts in Houston! Congratulations Pam, although seeing your work there was never a doubt. Have you completed the Bayeux? I so wish I could go and see all the amazing quilts on show. I'm sure you will bring home some ribbons with these quilts. Each of them is unique and I'm sure some of your ideas will shift the direction some quilters take after they see your work. Best of luck, Pam.

There are more riches in life than money and I think you have been showeresd in them. What a wonderful gesture in return for all you have done for this community. For it to turn you speechless just speaks volumes!

The young man skating must shop for clothes in the same store as my skater son. I recognise the trademark rip! For some reason he won't let me put a creative patch over the tears. I think he prefers that open-air feeling! I think it looks like he is neglected.

The only way I see 4:30 am is if I am on my way back to bed after a bathroom stop. Not sure how you do it Pam but I do know how hard it is to sleep when ideas whirl around in your head. It is better to deal with them than to ignore the, I can imagine that you would have complete peace and quiet at that hour.

Ooohhh, Pam you are such a tease! Congratulations to you all on your achievement. I can't wait to see the finished product. I just know it will knock our socks off!

New grandies Pam, how exciting! Soon you might have trouble tearing yourself away to go travelling with all those delightful young minds to nurture. I am so looking forward to seeing more of your joint project. When and where are we looking at a launch? I haven't missed it have I?

Love the look of this work Pam. I really like how you have thought outside the box for the zebra. Great choice of fabric.

More priceless memories. The birthday girl looked gorgeous. She did a wonderful job on her makeup and looked very pretty in her best dress. I hear pink scooters are all the rage for four year olds. Happy days!

This one HAS to become a quilt! I got such a giggle out of it. Today I really need my spirits lifted and it did just that.

Oh Lordy Pam, doesn't your head spin? Sounds like a wonderful agenda on this trip. Lots to do and lots to see.

Such vivid colours! We really are very conservative in our colour combinations aren't we? Great music too.

Wonderful photos that really talk of the newness of the morning after the rain. How beautiful are the feathers on the bird? Look at that beautiful green in there.

I trust the shed itself held up to the rain. Like Carolyn I too am puzzled/bemused by half an Easter egg. How do you stop at the half way point? I can't stop half way through anything except a sudoku which has become too tricky. I think your leaf is quite intriguing and am looking forward to how it progresses. Perhaps it is now time for your spider to put in an appearance.

Love the dimensional look of the lilies. I am intrigued by the addition and the placement of the lilies. What was the inspiration and the thought processes that led to this decision Pam?

I love how you have broken up the starkness of the white with the simple stitching. I'm glad you did that, it needed something to make it blend. That's what I love about your work Pam, it always has a story attached and that story is as interesting as the quilt itself. Someday someone will be able to open a Pam Holland Museum using your images, drawings, journals, collections and masterpieces. People will travel from all over the world to see it. You might need somewhere larger than your shed to house it all though.

Thank you so much for your story and images. It's almost like being in Mexico with you. I just wish we could experience the smells and taste of the foods that you photographed as well. They looked divine!

That one gave me such a laugh. I'm sure it's not fun being washed away but the mental image that conjured up was so funny. I think there is a sketch and/or quilt in that statement alone.

I love the achitecture of that church. What a wonderful setting to be working in. I can see why you like it so much.
