now I don't feel so bad about my crafting desk! LOL! Despite the *mess* I still find your workspace gorgeous and inspiring. Did you spray paint the 7Gyspies tray pink? So cool!
I can't wait to see the actual LOs - the sneaks are gorgeous!
Studio Calico January Kit: Sneak Peek
Let's start with these pictures first.......... One could assume that I did a lot of misting this month.... but I am not sure how you would come to that assumption....... haha! These mists do not normally reside on my scrap table or on my floor by my scrap table. So that means I pulled a...
i love that you included the kids' actual Christmas lists. That's such a great idea! They will treasure that as they get older.
December Daily | Day 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 #decdaily
I am attempting to power through a nasty sore throat and earache. Lovely. I sort of figured it would be my turn to have the crud right about now. I am trying to remember to keep letting the unimportant stuff go. I just crossed a bunch more things off my to-do list. Not because I did them. But b...
oooh, I can't wait to see this! I've been thinking about how I want to do Project 365 this year. These look awesome!

Win it before you can buy it! To enter please leave a comment below. Giveaway ends Saturday 12/25/10 @ 11:59pm EST. Winner will be announced Monday 12/27.
i LOVE your card! I didn't realize that Hero Arts makes watercolor paper. The kind I have isn't smooth, so it doesn't look as good with stamping (unless I want a textured look).
Day 4 of HA/PTI Stamp Challenge & Cards for Kids Winners... & GIVEAWAY!
Hi! I do believe it is World Cardmaking Day. But since every single day is World Cardmaking Day in my house, it is just another day. :) But I hope you all get a chance to get crafty today. In celebration, I have three giveaways today - three fab dies from Tim Holtz generously donated by the rock...
I love your dining table. Where did you get it?
There are so many things I love about scrapbooking. But, there are two main reasons why I scrapbook. One, I absolutely love the creative expression. I appreciate digital scrapbooking, and I dabble in it some (also doing more and more hybrid), but it will never replace paper for me. I love seeing how my style and skill has evolved over time. The second reason I love scrapbooking is to share my story. Both little stories and big stories...those are the precious memories I have with my grandmother and I hope one day to share them with my own grandchildren.
Organizing... Scrapbooking... and a Give Away!
Seems like I am pretty good about organizing my scrapbook room every few months but for some reason I am not good at keeping my layouts organized and in albums..... I just keep adding to the stacks.... stacks of layouts in the bookcase, stacks of layouts on top of the cabinets, stacks of lay...
Cute card! Love the ice cream cone instead of the traditional cupcake bottom!

Happy Thursday. I wanted to give a quick thank you for all you fabulous crafters who participated in the Lawn Fawn Cards for Kids Blog Hop yesterday. What amazing cards! THANK YOU so much. If you missed it, click HERE to start. It is well worth the hop. Today is Day 3 of my fun challenge with Jo...
Nichol, You always do the CUTEST cards! I have been incredibly inspired by all the copic coloring and masking you have been doing lately. I'm working on my copic stash. Now I got to get some of these stamps that are perfect for coloring. Thanks for sharing. I know that some special kids are going to love these cards!

Cute card! I love how you braided the string. Perfect!
A cooking challenge
Hi! It's day 2 of my fun little challenge with the amazingly-talented Joy Taylor. Today, we will both be using the Hero Arts What's Cooking set. I kept it pretty simple by stamping the apron on Basic Grey paper and adding shading with Copics. I then went a little nuts and decided to braid strin...
I love it! LOVE IT! LOVE IT! Perfect for fall (and really any time of the year).
Introducing Leaf Prints & Places, Please
The two sets I get to introduce today in this post are two things that I've desired for several years. I was beyond thrilled to make both of them a reality for this release and I can only hope that you will be as excited as I am about them. First is a set I have entitled Leaf Prints. It is a ...

Finally finally finally I get to share my Studio Calico news! I'm so thrilled to have taken on a new part-time position with Studio Calico. They are such an amazing company and I've admired them from the very start. I will be working with them on product design, education (lots of cool things ...
I LOVE this layout! Such a great use of stamps! My favorite die cutting machine is the Silhouette. I LOVE Kerri's designs. I also get cutting designs from 2Peas and Design House Digital.
School Days, School Days (a Hero Arts layout) + a GIVEAWAY
One of my favorite things about stamping is figuring out ways to utilize the stamps that I already have in new and fun ways. I was asked to create a Back To School layout for the Hero Arts Blog today (you can find it HERE) but I didn't exactly have back to school stamps. No worries, though. I pu...
Yay! There are simply not enough Thanksgiving sets. This is perfect!
Introducing Gobble, Gobble & Take Three: Fall
(note: I apologize for the belatedness of this post. After a few extra long days this week with double posts I needed a little more time to finish preparations for today's presentation. There is a second post that will be coming a bit later this afternoon that you can keep an eye out for! It ...

i LOVE LOVE LOVE this stamp set! Halloween is my favorite holiday of the year. I love having a stamp set to go along with "booing" my coworkers. It's a big thing for us each year and this will make it even better. I also adore the "spooky" card. The spider is so cute! If only they were that cute in person...
Introducing Been Boo'd
In my personal opinion, Halloween is one of the most fun occasions to stamp for. It allows you to step out of the box and have a little fun with your supplies. Do a little something different and experiment with spooky color schemes and more. Beth Silaika's new set, Been Boo'd, will surel...
I am definitely impressed! I especially loved the autumn-colored card. The gradient of squares at the bottom is so delightful!
Introducing Falling Leaves & Fillable Frames #7
I have sung Heather Nichols' praises on multiple occasions. Both as a stamp designer and overall paper artist. The work she has created this month is nothing but fabulous and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share both of her latest sets with you today! The first set is entitled Fall...
Love your layout! I have too many favorite stamping companies right now, but I think my all time fave is Papertrey. I love their designs. I also love that I can still get stamps from early on, nothing ever expires. And, I'm glad that Nichole and gang are releasing stamps that retail for $15, so I can get even more. Plus, I love the coordinating cardstock, ribbon, and felt.
Who Knew Life Could Be This Good (a layout) + a GIVEAWAY
How about another new layout share? Technically it's not really new, per se, just new to my blog. ;) This layout was featured in April's Scrapbook Trends "Green" Article: Scrapbook Trends | April 2010 page 57 This Earth Love Collection from Cosmo Cricket that I used for the majority of my la...
So pretty! If I ever get to retire :) I hope to be surrounded by grandbabies and still making art.
Giveaway!
Hey, there. Happy Tuesday. Just popping in with a quick giveaway! My dear friend Latrice creates adorable necklaces and sells them on Etsy. She made one for me (white) and for Kay (purple) and for Audrey (pink) and they are so fun. Here I am this morning wearing mine. Bad photo - took it with my...
Thanks for sharing. What a great idea! Also, thanks for the info about the scoring pad. I was wondering if it is worth it, and I think I'm sold. I'm glad you shared about the included bone folder. It looked a little flimsy to me. The stylus is a great idea!
How-To Video: Personalized Cards
Hey, there. I am a busy gal, getting ready for Stampaway... and for two of my favorite people to come stay at my house: Shari and Carol. We always have so much fun together. Reminds me - check out this morph Shari did of our faces. Makes me laugh - Shari call it "Jenari." :) Wanted to share ...
