There are a few things you can be guaranteed of in life. One is you will eventually leave the planet (die) and the other is you are going to get your heart broken. You might not get heart break because of a relationship, it could even be money that’s the cause, but either way, sometime in the future, you are going to deal with a heart break at least once, if not, more. I’ve helped people through relationship heartbreak, financial heartbreak, being fired heartbreak, getting serious disease heartbreak. And I’ve gone down those and many others myself. I am, at the end of the day, the most experienced person I know at dealing with heartbreak. So, I speak with authority on the topic. I’n not famous as a “heart breaker,” I’m famous as the “heart opener” So, I want to share with you the tools to deal with a heart break when it happens: If you are not experiencing a heartbreak right now, I suggest you put this blog article in your “one day this will be interesting basket.” I promise you, for yourself or someone else, it’s a valuable save. via www.chriswalkeronline.com Continue reading

There are very few thing that hurt more than a break up. They just dig deep into the heart. Mostly the cause of the pain is an unhealthy loss of independence. To regain that independence again can take a little work and I wrote this book to help anyone who feels broken hearted or is in pain regarding a breakup. Please find it on Amazon or other book shops online. Related articles Relationships and the Myth of Contentment G.I.V.E more than you take Continue reading

Here is a transcript of One Keynote Presentation I Gave in New York in 2010 You can't give what you haven't got and nobody is going to balance your life for you. You have to do it yourself and if you leave it too long, nature will do it for you: a flu, illness, disease, crash, stress and burn. Current technologies for work life balance are ridiculous. People, in all good faith talk about time off, breathing or some highly corrupted Eastern Art form they've read about on the back of a corn-flakes packet (meditation), unbeknown to them, and with all good intention, they are making things worse. The Universal laws of nature, drive to the heart of work life balance because they work on the cause of imbalance, not repairing it.nThey return us, in this one element of life, to the beauty of that natural moment, the emptiness of reality, the smile of the child, the moment without ambition, a moment without ego. We've lost that connection to nature's law and spend most of our lives applying bandiades to the problem, rather than fixing the cause. People no longer live in connection to the laws of nature because they only visit a farm, or till the earth for food in flowerpots. In our technological age we've lost touch with the source of balance but you can bring that essence, that exact essence of awareness back into your life through the awareness of the Laws of Nature. With it, you'll find balance in any moment you choose it. Over the last two decades, I’ve applied “The Innerwealth Universal Laws of Nature” with individuals in all sorts of business and industries, including entertainers, artists, business professionals, sports stars, parents and indigenous communities in Canada. It’s an approach that works consistently to... Continue reading

You’ve just been through a break-up. You’re probably attempting to cope with a whirlwind of emotions ranging from anger to disappointment. The relationship you had such high hopes for didn’t go as planned. Besides dealing with real-time pain, anxiety about the future creeps in. Will you find someone else? And if you do, will you be able to open up your heart again? The tendency to put up walls around your heart after a painful breakup is only natural. If you’ve ever had your heart broken in pieces, you may have said things to yourself like, “I’ll never be able to trust another man/woman again” or “I don’t need another partner in my life, it’s too much trouble". This type of defense mechanism plays out in many ways. It may show up as the rejection of dating altogether, or dating people you know aren’t right for you. After all, it’s safer to fall from a first story window than from the 100th floor. Your mind and broken heart may trick you into believing the best option is simply to never fall deeply in love again. Of course you need time to grieve and explore life as a single person, but, if after an appropriate amount of time, you notice your defenses are still up, it’s time to rethink and take action. After all, even though this behavior may keep you "safe," it will never get you the type of relationship you really want and deserve. As humans, true love is our lifeblood, and we need it to nourish our minds, bodies, and souls. Here are three steps to opening your heart again after a painful breakup: 1. Focus on what you've gained. No relationship, no matter how painful it ends, was a waste of time. Focus on what you learned... Continue reading
