The reason that the truck manufacturers do not make spray in bed liners standard on their trucks is due to the government issued "CAFE" standards overseen by the NHTSA, which is used to monitor fuel economy in the U.S. Basically the more a vehicle weighs, the more fuel it burns which increases oil production so the manufacturers are given production volume limits. This is why vehicle manufacturers are always trying to produce lighter vehicles, so they can produce more of them. This is why a very minimal percentage of trucks are sprayed at the factory level and are sprayed very thin compared to Rhino Linings or Line-x.
