Kimya Dawson's songs make me want to write stories. Really long ones that are crisp and new and alternate, and screenplays too. Like movies, like, Little Miss Sunshine or Sunshine Cleaning … neither of those were deliberately meant to have the word 'sunshine' in it, but you get the drift. So, out of boredom, I'm going to leave the lyrics to one of my most favourite Kimya Dawson Song; Tire Swing. No copyright intended. I took the Polaroid down to my room, I'm pretty sure you have a new girlfriend It's not as though I don't like you It just... Continue reading

I've decided to stop talking—just for a while. It was almost a subconscious decision, more than one that required thought to be made. This way; if I don't say anything, I can't upset anybody. It's like you're walking the desert for so long, and you want water so bad, you see mirages, hallucinations, misunderstanding for what seems to be water around or in front of you. And I suppose people... Continue reading

I hate someone, much the same fashion you'd say, "Well, it's not like I want this person dead! But, I would like to punch them in the face ... you know, just once." I'm a weak hitter, I've never really had the experience (which, in retrospect, it's probably a very good thing). But nonetheless, a good smack never did anyone such harm ... especially mean, cold-hearted people. They don't feel pain like normal people do, do they? She'll be fine ... Okay, okay, I'll admit that was quite a rash and quick and ... quite scary, now that I reread... Continue reading
