As a young man Clifton Willson was fortunate to have guided lessons from time to time. He was fascinated by the uniqueness of people, so he was constantly doodling and sketching them. Fortunately, his father liked to paint, so Clifton’s interest in drawing quickly grew to painting. He has continued to learn more about painting through the years. Clifton began working with oils with subject matter including animals, people, still life, lanscapes, and some abstract. He really enjoys the challenge of painting nature because it is so randomly perfect and the subject matter is endless.
