Hello Stampers! Over the past few months I had a lot of classes and I wanted to share some of the cards I designed using the 2019 Sale-a-Bration stamps and products. I honestly can't believe Sale-a-bration is already over. These little frogs were a big hit this year during sale-a-bration and the real treat came when Stampin'Up! Released the framelits to cut them out! Oh what a treat that is. We have really gotten spoiled haven't we! So this is a card that I designed for class and I thought it was so fun! It is a little hard to... Continue reading

Hi Stampers! Today I want to share a simple card I designed using the Golden Afternoon stamp set from the Occasions Catalog. It seems like I never have enough sympathy and thinking of you cards and this is a perfect set for those occasions. I stamped in black and used some ink on the lids of my pads and colored with an aqua painter. I blended a few different colors and just swooshed some paint over without worrying too much about everything staying perfectly in the lines. I think it is a lovely card to send as an expression of... Continue reading

Hi Stampers! I am sitting by the pool at my brothers house in sunny Florida. Since I am not at home creating in my stamp room, the next best thing is to share some of my latest creations with you! This is a card that we did at my last class and I think it is the sweetest thing! This stamp set is called Fable Friends and it is in the Occasions catalog. I made it into an Easter/Happy Spring card but it would also make the sweetest baby card. Products used: Watercolor pencils Fable Friends Stamp set Climbing Vine... Continue reading

Hi Stamping Friends! I want to share a lovely wedding card that I designed for a swap I was in. This card uses my favorite product from the new Occasions Catalog - the Well Written Framelit dies (pg 27). This is one product that everyone should have and it has a coordinating stamp set to make it even more useful. Here is a little information on how to make this card. As you can see it is a standard 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch card with a couple of layers. I will share the info on doing the lattice... Continue reading

Hey Stampers!! When I receive a new Stampin’Up! catalog I am always excited to see what new stamp designs they have come up with and inevitably there is always one set that stands out as a favorite. For me it was the Feathers & Frost set (page 30). I love this style of drawing, the fonts are super cool and I just thought it was a really pretty set. Tonight I will share a card I made with it, and tomorrow stay tuned for another. This is card also uses the Buffalo Check Stamp (page 38) which is probably my... Continue reading

Hi Stampers! It is December and I live in Wisconsin but the only Blizzard we have had this year is happening in my stamp room! I am going to share two cards we did at class using the Beautiful Blizzard Stamp set and the Blizzard Thinlet die from page 39 in the holiday catalog. What I love about these two cards is that one card uses the snowflakes that are diecut and the other card uses the piece you cut them from! It is a perfect plan with no waste and you get two fun and easy cards with minimal... Continue reading

Hi Stampers! I have been so busy stamping that I have completely neglected my blog. I am going to share my Holiday cards and projects over the next week or two and hopefully start a better habit so I can enter the new year ready to share all of my stamping goodies! The cards I am sharing tonight are made with the Calligraphy Essentials Project Kit that is found on page 11 in the current Stampin’Up! catalog. I think these preprinted cards are beautifully and it was really fun to embellish them with some products from the 6 x 6... Continue reading

Hi Stampers! I have just returned home from a fabulous trip to Salt Lake City for Stampin’Up! Onstage 2017 celebration and I want to share some of my swaps with you! I signed up for a bunch of organized swaps and we were required to make WOW! Cards. Today I will share one of my favorites. This cake was inspired by all of the adorable unicorn cakes that are so popular now. I have included a photo that shows which dies and punches I used. Everything is current except for the punches I used for the ears. If you don’t... Continue reading

Hi Stampers! Today I want to share a sweet little card we did at class recently. My customers mumbled a bit about having to make all of those little donuts but seriously, it was so worth it! Heres the inside! These were the stamps from the May Paper Pumpkin kit. Heres some info on how I created the box of donuts! Many of these punches are retired, so hopefully you don't get rid of your old punches!! the white box on the card uses two pieces, one slightly larger for the bottom of the box and one with the center... Hi Stampers! Fall has officially arrived and while the weathers has been mostly in the high 80's this past week in WI, the sights and sounds of Fall are around us. My husband and I took a road trip to the Smoky Mountains last week and all of the sights we visited were decorated with pumpkins and such! When the new Holiday catalog came out, one of my favorite new stamp sets was "Pick a Pumpkin"! I just love the different pumpkins, gourds and branches included in this set and I couldn't wait to play with it! One of my... Continue reading

Hi Stampers, I am so excited to share some beautiful sunflower cards that I designed with the upcoming Painted Harvest Stamp set that will be featured in The Stampin'Up! Holiday Catalog this year. I played around with these stamps quite a bit and after a lot of hits and misses, I finally figured out how to make a beautiful sunflower! This is very different than our usual method of stamping - I found if you stamped the bottom image of the flower multiple times, turning your stamp in different directions it created a beautiful flower. When you add the more... Continue reading

Hi Stamping friends! Today I want to share the new Easter collage I designed for a class. This is a watercolor collage similar to the one I did for Valentine's Day. When the Stampin'Up! Occasions catalog came out this year I was so excited to see an Easter and Valentines set with lots of little pieces because they are perfect for collage making. When I design a new collage it is a long and messy process. It takes time to get everything just perfect but after tweaking things and making a big mess I somehow find my way to the... Hi Stamping friends! Today I will share the other collage that I designed this year. This is a collage that I came up with based on the cathedral square used in quilting. It is a really fun collage to make but it can be challenging to find a paper to use that has small enough designs with just the right colors. Luckily the Stampin'Up! Presents and Pinecones was perfect. I will share that I used a 2 inch circle punch and a 1 3/8 square to make this. I am planning on doing a tutorial about collage making after the... Hi Stampers! Here is another one of my favorite Holiday cards this year. This card uses the Wonder of Christmas Stamp set and the Softly Falling Embossing Folder. This card is really simple, but the image is so perfect, that is all it needs. I did all of the coloring on the wings and shoes with just the gold Wink of Stella. Gosh I love that stuff!! Hi Stampers, I naturally tend to make fun and cutsie cards and projects, so sometimes it is good to stretch my mind and come up with something a little more elegant and I think this card fits that category perfectly. This card is made with the Reason for the Season stamp set, which is in the big catalog. This stamp set is incredibly easy to work with and you can achieve the three colors on the flower with no difficulty at all. I used the new Holly Embossing folder on this card, which I think is just fabulous. When making... Continue reading

Hi Stampers, It is the first of December! Last night I had the last of my holiday card classes and I have so many beautiful Christmas cards to share. I am going to do my best to share as many of them as I can over the next month! Tonight I will share a cute little card with a mouse on it. I thought it would be so cute to have a little mouse peeking out of the door to his house! The stamps are from Stampin'Up! Of course ~ Merry Mice and the verse is from the hostess set... Hi Stampers Today I will share a pretty little card I made with the Frosted Medallions set and Cookie Cutter Christmas! First let me say - the Frosted Medalions set is so beautiful. I absolutely love the big medallion stamp and it will be beautiful to use on cards throughout the year, not just for Christmas. Combine that with the Softly Falling embossing folder and you can create a nice wintery feel on your cards. The little Eskimo is stamped on watercolor paper and colored with an aqua painter.
