Hi Everyone! In a week the oil spill could reach Miami and then Key West! Poor dolphins and endangered species.
(Aside:Paris, you looked gorgeous at the MTV awards)
I'm doing our weekend beach clean-ups as usual. And, helping to organize an Oil Spill Gathering of people to join Hands Across The Sand to leave only our footprints. If you wish to do this in your area, check out the website: HandsAcrossTheSand.Org Nationally, we will join at noon on June 26th for 15 minutes wearing Black and joining hands in unity for the same reason(s).
Thanks for helping to be a voice to stop oil drilling offshore. It protects you not just wildlife and the waters!

The Dolphin Foundation Signed up for the International Coastal Clean Up for September 25 from 1-5 on Ocean Drive and 8th Street to protect sea-animlas and their habitats. Paris you are welcome to advertise your lingerie line in connection with our event that day and we can take sales orders for you that day while we do the marine debris clean-up. We can have mermaids on hand for that if you like. All are welcome to join if you're on vacation and want to give back to the beach :) Ocean peace! XO

Went to a lecture tonight on Marjorie Stoneman Douglas (MSG) and lecturer compared our lives and asked if I would be on a panel for his students at The University of Florida. Fin-Tastic! MSG was very important for women being able to vote in Florida & for Saving The Everglades from being Developed on. She died at 108 y.o. My hero! MSG was a great activist! She saved many sea-animals and their habitat! :)

Hi Everyone! We do beach and bay clean-ups and the CANDO board of yesterday just decided that I wasn't "qualified" which hurt because I am not recognized for working when I do clean-ups. I do work! Today L Powers (founder of The Dolphin Foundation) was accepted on the Board of CANDO--the Cultural Arts Neighborhood District Overlay in Miami Beach. The Board deals with the developing arts and "L" will have a litte say regarding art shows for Art Basel and Art Miami, as well as theater and film festivals [The Dolphin Foundation will bring ...sea-turtle night walks after we settle with the State regarding their lack of sea-turtle protection and the world knows that The Dolphin Foundation is responsible for the change of the sea-turtle lighting ordinance and stop of the sea-turtle hatchery on Miami Beach, NOT THE STATE.] CANDO is all about empowering cultural CANDO events for a thriving community!
