After the big move this year some things stayed in Canada, including our christmas decorations. Sean brought back the first christmas ones for the kids, but I wanted the kids to make some decorations for the tree. I thought salt dough would be a good idea, they both love play... Continue reading

Thank you for sharing, I have a 150x90 table in our living room (small english houses!) and I find storage such a huge problem, I love the idea of using tiered baskets, that give more storage but use less space!

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there. James loves that we have a chimney that Santa can come down, he... Continue reading

oh my goodness! Your husband with the birthday hat is too cute, your so lucky to have a hubby that doesn't mind being silly, mine is the same but so many are far too serious! My new years resolution is to take more photos of the random moments, rather than wait till everything is perfect.

My printer ran out of ink, well, it wont print because it thinks its ran out of ink... I printed my photos out at Jessops using a program called Photosheet to make them smaller than 4x6 (2x2, 3x2) and they worked great! James and Sean went ice skating a few... Continue reading

We have Emily the elf, she is a very friendly looking cuddly elf! My 5 year old loves waking up to see what she has done (his fave was when she drew Santa on the etch a sketch!)

We don't have a car, so we walk everywhere. Sometimes we use the local bus, but we prefer walking. Surprisingly we hardly go out to walk; just to walk. A few weeks ago we went for a walk through our local park, it was so beautiful! James took a lot... Continue reading

I've never made christmas cards before. I always buy the ones that look handmade (and most of the time are handmade) just not by me, which was going to be the same this year, until Tuesday that was. We decided to go to the coffee morning at James' school, though... Continue reading

I love your dress, and your husbands dress uniform, looks better than the Canadian one (shhh!) You both look so happy, its so nice to have some time to 'recharge' and let your hair down! As much as I love the kids, I'm looking forward to a few hours away on the 23rd!

I really like the cranberry shoes, I think it will add a punch to the outfit, I *love that coat! For tights, i would say wear nude tights, I think wit the darker dress, if you wear dark tights your going to look almost black from the neckline of your dress to your shoes! I will add that if you are indoors and you like your legs, then go tightless!
