I don't think I've ever been happier in all my life. The Fost Flowers and Leaves Shawl is done! I actually finished "the never ending shawl" and I am completely beside myself. I started this in February of 2007 - according to my Ravelry start date - so it took... Continue reading

Be on the look out, I am relisting items that have not sold and really need a new home. Things like Girasol and Falling Tears which are completely gorgeous and if they don't leave soon, I will end up turning them into something. Continue reading

I'm finally making progress on what I have coined my "Never-Ending Shawl", otherwise known as the Frost Flowers and Leaves Shawl. I am working on the border now, which also seems to be never ending. I've been working on the border for 2 weeks now and haven't reached the midway... Continue reading

I haven't been doing much lately. I've been concentrating solely on what I've termed the "Never Ending Shawl", which is really the Frost Flowers and Leaves shawl. I've made some progress and am finishing up the second of three charts. I should hopefully be done with that today, but we'll... Continue reading

I love Knit Picks and here is the reason why. The other day I was knitting with my US10 Harmony options when the wooden needle separated from the metal base. As you could imagine, I panicked. I just about started crying, I was upset, my beautiful harmony had broken. I... Continue reading

Yesterday's yarn soup came out looking like this, and I'm not sure if I should redye to fill in the white spots or leave it as is. It kind of reminds me of acid washed jeans, but is it something that transfers nicely unto yarn or not? The yarn itself... Continue reading

The"needles" are actually called blocking wires and they are amazing for blocking things like shawls. They can be picked up at knitpicks.com for a pretty decent price. I would definitely recommend them for blocking shawls or any kind of intricate lace.
