Oh, this post. This post and my heart. Oh , my. My granny lived with us in her last years, when we were just starting out as a family and it was such a blessing. Now, six years later, we're planning on welcoming my own mother to our home in February. Then in the Spring, a new house for our bigger family. So this post just absolutely warms my heart.

I love that you went to an actual body mod professional instead of the 16 year old with the piercing gun at the mall. His earrings look great! Congrats E!!

I've been pretty busy lately. My Etsy shop is steadily becoming fuller, better stocked. Some things have gotten pretty popular. I'm not complaining ;-) My children have been busy too. What I thought of simply as scraps they've seen much more creatively. I'm not complaining about that either :-) Continue reading

Lately, as a person I've been very much like my blog: It doesn't look bad, but it has been lacking substance, empty. I've let the hardships of motherhood get to me, it's broken me down, built me back up and knocked me down again. I've given and given, filled their little cups over and over, but seldom took the time to take care of myself, to refill the pitcher that fills their cups. Deep inside I knew I was neglecting myself, but I shrugged it off. I'm a mother, I have other, more important tasks at hand than taking time... Continue reading

Feeling a bit like the White Rabbit lately, hectic, hurried, a little off kilter and late late late lol Such is life, I suppose. So my WIP this week.... it's a bit all over the place. Please forgive the mess that is my workspace, it looks messy but there is a method to the madness... perhaps I'm more akin to the Hatter than the White Rabbit? Either way... I've got several projects going on at once. That's the way I like it, I tend to be erratic in my crafting which keeps me from getting bored. Really, I'm just the... Continue reading

I'm back. Ok, so I didn't actually go anywhere, but I did have a lapse in my blogging. I have good reasons, I swear. Health issues, husband getting let go from work , chasing kids around, rearranging furniture, building furniture, and gearing up for the re-opening of my Etsy shop. I'm re-opening my Etsy shop on Beltane/May Day / May 1st and I decided to have some fun, I'm going to have a discount code and, even more exciting, I'll be hosting a giveaway. I actually just finished the giveaway item tonight. I think it turned out nicely. I'm debating... Continue reading
