Superheroes and Shawarma
Last weekend in Los Angeles a group of us assembled for "Superheroes and Shawarma," a get together I suggested after being inspired by the shawarma joke in the Avengers movie. If you don't know what shawarma is, it's meat grilled... Continue reading

This is a post about PAX Prime, which is suddenly upon us.
It's raining in Vancouver. Little rivulets of water are running down the window, as low clouds slowly move across downtown, swallowing up the tops of buildings as they roll by. I have a late call today. I'm in one scene, and then I'm off until next Monday. Tomorrow morning, I'm going home to get...

Thanks for including The Guild on your list. I was digging that you used the geek form of "the" ("teh") in the audiobook listing, thinking wow, what a subtle geek nod. Then I clicked the link and realized, just a plain ol' error. You're unconsciously brilliant at geekery.
Merry Christmas to you and yours!
"perhaps, he thought, christmas doesn't come from a store..."
But we all know the Grinch was wrong, and Christmas totally comes from a store! YEEEEEAHHH!! Um. Well, as threatened promised yesterday, here's the Wil Wheaton Holiday Gift Guide, a perfect place to send your friends who are wondering what to get you this holiday season, to show you how much the...

The Guild - Season 4 Episode 4: Moving On!
"I said nothing corpse." Jeff Lewis has a great season. So far he and Clara have my favorite lines. <a href="http://video.msn.com/?mkt=en-us&fg=MsnEntertainment_joseph_player&vid=b6bdd68e-c989-4b96-a9c2-a30069e27ba3" target="_new" title="Season 4 - Episode 4 - Moving On">Video: Season 4 - Episode 4 - Moving On</a> I neglected... The Guild - Season 4 Episode 3: Oversupportive'd
Episode 3 of Season 4 of The Guild. Ahh, the "Team Cawkes" painting. My Season 4 blogging dropped off as Comic-Con approached and I had tons of other Guild work to do, but now I'm back and playing catchup. <a... Continue reading

@Jcopacetic - if you're deaf or are posting on behalf of someone who's deaf, contact me via watchtheguild (at) gmail.com and we'll get you hooked up.
MSN's player doesn't serve up captions, however we have a fan-fueled behind the scenes operation, and they caption episodes as they come out. Yeah, Guild fans are awesome.
I'm not thrilled that we have to do this via a workaround, but we do have it.

The Guild - Season 4 Episode 2: Strange Allies
Episode 2 is up, with some really great quotable lines. For all that Felicia is known for (actress, gamer, geek goddess, social media power user, web series pioneer), I think it's easy to forget that she's a great writer. Producer... Continue reading

The Guild - Mucho Grande Burrito (a social media success story)
A couple of weeks ago a fan on Jeff Lewis's Facebook Fan Page asked, "has anyone else seen the Taco Bell training video that Jeff starred in?" Jeff replied that he was "speechless" as the video was probably ten years old. According to Robert (the fan), he worked at Taco Bell at one point and t...

The Guild, looking back one year
Exactly one year ago today, I went to WonderCon in San Francisco to meet up with my friend Kim Evey who I had stayed in touch with over the years but probably hadn't seen in three or four. Kim was there with Felicia Day, creator and star of The Guild which Kim produces with Felicia. I knew a...
