Fantastic chops from Peter Speaight in Tunbridge Wells. I fried them in butter with a tiny bit of olive oil (to stop the butter burning) for about 10 minutes in all. I used the fat to make a roux base for the gravy and served them with roast potatoes, peas... Continue reading

My daughter loved making this indoor garden. We just lined a circular box lid with foil and added soil, buttons, a pond, leaves, etc. Kept us both amused for quite a while... and then she ran off, leaving me to clear up all the mess! Continue reading
