"Sorry, no such thing as a "conscientious objector" for me. Get over it. Grow up. You are not 18. If you don't vote R in 2016, you are voting D." The conservative conscientious objectors to Trump will end being a minor issue to Trump when compared to the millions of independents who will view PIAPS as the least repulsive of the two. The fault for the debacle will lie squarely with those who marked a ballot for Forrest in the first place. If you place your faith in an unelectable candidate don't be surprised when you end up disappointed.

OL says: "JCB can do whatever he wants. But any action that assists Hillary winning is helping the certain destruction of the country within the lifetimes of our children. Simple as that. Too bad that escapes him." The nomination of Trump is the action certifies the destruction of the country within the lifetimes of our children. The election is now about choosing how we will die - It's Ass Cancer versus Lung Cancer.

MM says: "I would not have come on this site and told everyone we were doomed, we will lose, he's unfit tempermentally, etc. etc." Is there something wrong with me stating my opinion? Is this now the Daily Kos?

TK, To fully answer your question - I do not foresee any circumstances in which I would vote for Trump.

TK/Central, I call him "Forrest" because is like Gump in that his success is due to his uncanny knack for being in the right place at the right time

Deb, Fulton is actually mostly white now due to the growth of the Northern suburbs. Cobb is also predominantly white. A Republican has to dominate North Fulton and Cobb in order to win the state. If there are enough people like me than Trump has a potential issue with Georgia. I am not saying that he will lose Georgia but I do believe that he will have to spend money and visit here. I would say that the odds are better that Hillary wins Georgia than Trump wins Pennsylvania. Of course you need to take that for what it is worth and given that 12 months ago I thought that come may of 2016 I would be getting pscyched for President Walker it ain't worth much.

TK asks: "JCB, if Cruz were to say that he has thought long and hard about the situation and he believes that Trump is equipped for the job and he urges you to vote for Trump, would you? Or would you then question whether Cruz was ever morally, emotionally or psychologically equipped to do the job?" After what Trump has said about Cruz and his family (and what Cruz said about Trump yesterday) I would think less of Cruz but I would not consider him unfit. Please note, however, as much as I agree with him, Cruz was never my favorite. Like MM he creeps me ou but I would certainly vote for him if there were no better alternatives.

Jimmy - In order for Trump to win he needs to be able to close the deal. If he can't it is on him, not those of us who find him detestable. He has had 10 months to at least get me to consider voting for him . He has not only failed to do that he has made me detest him even more. Kudos to Forrest for exceeding all expectations. I never thought this day would come. It has been as impressive as it has been disheartening. I (and the other members of the #neverTrump brigade) have been very explicit for a long time about Forrest's unacceptably as a candidate. The fact that his supporters did not consider the level of disdain that "alleged conservatives" have for Trump into their calculus is not my problem.

James: Regarding your 9:00AM post - no Trump has not done any of those but neither have any of the hormonally charged 16 year olds at Johns Creek High School and I would not consider voting for any of them either.

Rich Trump should count his chickens in Georgia. A good chunk of the state is Trump territory, however, my area (the northern arc above Atlanta ) is not. Just anecdotally, my neighbors and the parents of my daughter's school mates are primarily Republican, however, there has been a lot of resistance to Forrest. The key question is how many can Forrest aford to lose and still win the state. Forrest will have to spend money (that he really does not have) on Georgia which will provide him less resources to spend on Pennsylvania which I I agine will be a huge target for him.

James, I do not believe that Forrest would start a nuclear war. My point is that his impulse issues combined with some of the other characters on the world stage could lead to a situation where we stumble into a nuclear war (note that I wrote "could", not "would". It might not be likely but I believe it to be more likely if Forrest were President.

James - look at August 1914. If Nicholas and Wilhem had kept their egos in check the whole thing could have been avoided. The characters on the world scene today (Kim Jong Un, Putin and whatever Goat Rapist is in charge of Iran) are crazier than the cousins of 1914.

And as a neutral observer I would put forth that Trump's first job is to get people like me (although not me, I am already gone) into the fold. There are a lot of people like me out there and Forrest needs them to win. His statements on Cruz's father do not bode well for that endeavor. Another example of Forrest's impulse issues.

MM, Cruz in his rant on Trump yesterday said it better than I could. Furthermore, a person with Trump's impulse issues should not have access to nuclear codes - we could be one Forrest Trump Twitter rant from a cascade into WWIII.

Sorry, I cannot bring myself to vote for Trump. I do not believe that he is morally, emotionally or psychologically equipped to do the job. This goes beyond whether or not I agree with him philosophically (that is another discussion). The fact that he and PIAPS share many of the same traits (although Forrest gets the nod in the narcissism scale) is of no concern for me. It just means I cannot vote for her either. The whole thing is very depressing, however, I cannot in good conscience vote for the destruction of the Republic and I do believe with all my heart and soul that a vote for either of them results in just that.

"Maybe over the next couple of months we can find common ground, and hopefully there will be a place for Cruz in the campaign and the (hopefully) Trump administration." You mean Forrest was lying when he called him "Lyin'Ted"? I wonder what else he is lying about?
Toggle Commented May 4, 2016 on Any Minute Now at JustOneMinute
Lyle - with a choice between Forrest and PIAPS there is no choice. Two people who are completely unqualified for the office they seek. It's like living with ALS - it would be better off to just die now.

Daddy What else was Cruz suppose to do? This nutjob went after his father after going after his wife. The only other thing he could have said was "at least my wife doesn't look like Steven Tyler in drag"!

Lyle, President Clinton's Supreme Court appointees will approve of those suits. This election was so much bigger than a temper tantrum vote for a completely unqualified candidate thus turning an easy win into a devastating loss. Highly ironic that a vote for an unqualified candidate based on opposition to Amnesty will in all likelihood result in Amnesty. San Fran Nan is now looking for her big gavel. Hey but we sure stuck it to the GOPe

If Cruz is any kind of man there is no way that he can endorse Forrest Trump. I guess tomorrow's unifying move by Forrest will be to go after Cruz's kids! All that is left is to lie back and enjoy it because we (as in the country) are screwed. The horrible thoughts that go through one's mind at a time like this. By September the party will abandon a seriously underfunded Forrest in order to maintain any hope of holding the House. The Senate (and therefore the First and Second Amendments) will be as good as gone. #ThanksForrestTrump

Lyle - we will see how those numbers hold up after the 24-7 saturation of Forrest's greatest hits as well as the constant the drumbeat for him to release his tax returns.

Narc - the missing ingredient is that the MSNBC and CNN presenters are not firmly in place in Forrest's colon like Greta, BOR and Hannity.

http://www.redstate.com/leon_h_wolf/2016/05/03/cnn-destroys-fox-news-april-prime-time-ratings/ CNN killing Fox, especially in primetime. Fox is paying the price for turning 3/4 of its evenings into Forrest Trump infomercials. Right now I would say that Forrest might win 5 states in November.

I don't think Cruz nomination could get through the Senate. Anyway, Forrest Trump is only interested in hiring sycophants. This means that, in the unlikely event that Forrest was elected, we would be looking at AG Christie. Unfortunately, given Forrest's electoral prospects (current polls show him behind PIAPS in Utah and NC) we are more likely to welcoming AG Gorelick come January, 2017.
