Wayne The sunset pictures are incredible and probably not seen by all but a handfull of humans. I suspect 99% is a tad on the low side. Could it be that the link between observed sun refraction and ENSO is related to higher levels of water vapour in the atmoshere following an El Nino event? I do not understand your implied surprise that 'the ice keeps on being thin!' when the ice is melting with greater consistency from below than direct melting from above.

Mauna Loa Observatory, Hawaii (NOAA ESRL) April 25, 2018: 411.92 ppm The IPCC data is ten years out of date and ignores feedback factors. Can anybody please provide references to studies that incorporate these factors into projections of AGW?
