I've always wonder how my little sister would know what new toy was coming out or what was the new item on the McDonald's kids meal. Commercials airing on children’s channels also had significantly more negative modeling than commercials on the general channels. Researchers... Continue reading

Many athletes are role models to not only children but adults as well. They have to maintain certain standard of being professional no matter the circumstances. It hard knowing that thousands to millions of people have different perceptions of a certain athlete either loving him or hating him. "Twitter has also given us a chance to get a better understanding of professional athletes. The ones that use this medium not only become more accessible to fans, but also to their peers." Most of these athletes have to stay calm, cool, and collected. But one activity that questions their character is... Continue reading

Bleacher Report started as a small sports site created by four college students. They created a website with stories on different sport topics when it all began. Then to be efficient, they created the streaming app that updates its readers of whats going in the world of sports. According to USA Today, "Enticed by its traffic and social buzz, a Time Warner subsidiary, Turner Broadcasting, paid about $200 million for the site two years ago, with the goal of integrating it with its other properties, including CNN, NBA TV and TNT."
