Thank you for your comment. Personally, my three daughters are home schooled by me and they always have been. We use a Biblical curriculum. However, there are many situations where parents do not have much of a choice but to use public schools. My parents divorced when I was 18 months old. My mom had to work. Luckily, my mom raised me in the church and always had me with her whenever she wasn't at work or when I was in school. I remember even being on a picket line with her when I was about 4 or 5 (just before school started). I am running for Congress and I actually have an education plan that brings the Bible back into the classroom, allowing parents to decide whether their child gets a secular curriculum or a Biblical curriculum. It's even modeled after the curriculum I use for my own children. It also turns teachers into supervisors or facilitators, not preachers of "knowledge". The curriculum does the teaching and it's completely individualized. I think you might be interested in it. You can find it at https://www.rabornforcongress.com/educating_for_success. Finally, yes, I do read the Bible. Daily, in fact. I have a Prayer Warriors FB page (www.facebook.com/RabornPrayerWarriorsforIllinoisandAmerica/) as an offshoot of my campaign FB page. I post the daily Bible reading for people to follow along and at the end of the year, we will have completed the entire Bible. Then, we start over again because the best books were never meant to be read only once! God Bless, Theresa
