The injured of the Navy and of the Naval Brigade were, as Helen says, taken to the Naval Hospital at Therapia or to the hospital huts at Kazatch Point. I curate the Historic Collections of the Institute of Naval Medicine and hold a fair amount of material on the care of the naval wounded and sick. I also work alongside the curators of the Queen Alexandra's Royal Naval Nursing Service who will have material on naval nursing in the Crimea.
